IIRC I think it idled too high. But also if you pulled the codes you would get one for the TPS.

I actually remember your 1jz idling bad, and looking at your flying lead disconnected, then fixing the connections for you. It contains two of the 4 wires going to the TPS. The only other two wires used in the flying lead are for auto trans.

Yes, but it will idle poorly without it.

Yes, they just screw it to the trim piece above the steering column.

OMG! They made it look like a Hyundai! :aigo: AWD is fun if there are a lot of dirt roads near you. On the street.....not so much.

This was answered already, the flying lead was cut off, and different connectors used to replace it. You just need to get the pinout for the flying lead and use new connectors that you can work with.

I think I was in an oven all day today. It was still 95 deg inside the shop at 9pm tonight. My truck has no air conditioning, it was 105 deg outside. I felt like I was shipping Supra parts from hell.

You can absolutely use your 7m-gte (r154) clutch on a 1jz flywheel. The 7m flywheel will not fit on the 1jz engine though. So you may need to buy the 1jz flywheel and 1jz bellhousing.
