    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Yes I think Kenny will be real happy with the 272's, I know he's sorting out springs now. My sense is that he's going to end up with an AEM which should pull everything together for him.

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Your clutch choice sounds really good, especially with the other parts included. It's still about $700 less that the OS Giken triple disc with the push-pull conversion. Wish I would have known that you were buying BC 272's, I have a brand new set on the shelf, bought them originally for the...

Question about Rear control arm issue.

Once again you're right Poo, sorry for the miss info lefty. Thought that John had replaced those when the ES bushings were installed. After this conversation I checked an old invoice and realized they had been replaced with new OEM bushings when I had the new OEM arms installed.

Question about Rear control arm issue.

I'll double check for any movement on Monday-car is still in the shop. The bushing at the hub is ES.

Question about Rear control arm issue.

Same helm joint at the sub frame, ES bushing at the hub. I think Wes was trying to source a different poly bushing to replace the helm joints but couldn't find any that would work with the arms.

Question about Rear control arm issue.

Now I'm kind of confused. I had a new set of OEM control arms installed with the ES bushings, the arms are now in a box on the shelf. I took those off and put on the Beech arms: The bushing goes in the hub and the U shaped end goes around-over it and bolts up.

Question about Rear control arm issue.

So I wonder if the Energy Suspension bushings for there are spherical? Almost must be, I had them installed before I put on the Beech arms.

Question about Rear control arm issue.

I'll go by the shop on Monday and check the ones I have installed. I don't recall any real movement in the U shaped portion. I do have new ES poly bushings installed throughout. I know I have a set of new OEM bushings here, let me know if you want them.

    Anyone in the Hagerstown area??

Would be great to get a Md. caravan group going to Va. Beach, leave some time on Sat. & stay over for the Sunday meet. Chambers are you in? We should have our new CF hoods by then to show off. Hey Guedo, once my car is on the road I'll stop bye, only live about 10 Mins. from Towson, go to the...

    The Mistress

Nice work, really like the black carpet. Same here on the back, want to add a roll cage so any cover would have to be custom fit. The only thing I'm thinking about is some type of panel-cover for the rear tail lights to stop the reflection at night.

    CajunKenny's Build Thread

Thought I might get a rise out of you with that! Carry on man it's all in good fun, I appreciated your interest in my problem. Kenny is great, he already has a few pieces from my old build in his car and there are more boxes on the way.

Thanks for getting my back Kenny! Besides, when you do end up with this car you'll have a build that will kick a 2J's ass any day of the week.

    CajunKenny's Build Thread

Thanks, I think it will be sorted out. I actually think the springs were sent back 2 or 3 times and still the same results. The machine shop wouldn't use them because they were 10,000'ths. tight or binding in some way. Finally ditched them for a set of singles. Now it's on to installing shimless...

    Ongoing General MRSO Chat Area

Where you from in B'more? Man, I'd love to have all you guys up here. I'll start working on JE more. I know he wants to develop the 7M business, plus James, John & Chris are great to work with, and they listen; at least to this dumb ass that didn't know shit about Supras after 20 yrs. of...

    strut bars

So if you want one to clear the 7M, I have one, actually two, front and rear. They are original CUSCO strut tower bars that I bought and installed about seven years ago. IMO they look great, you could check my build thread; but I have known for some time--at least since I started talking to Ian...

NW Section so lame on SM

"Teeth"? Kenny, man maybe there's to much "Twilight" going on out there. All the Supras that I have looked at from your area look great--also seem to be BLACK. Must be something about the owners or the area. Got to say I have a "son" that used to work for me for years that decided he would...

    genuine hks bov?

I have one, think I bought it back in 2003 or '04. What you are calling yellow is actually a type of gold HKS lettering. If you want to go back to one of my old pic threads on here you can see it installed. It's been sitting in a box in the shed for a few years now. Was thinking of selling it...
