I asked Ian about his turbo manifold, it was a SSAC 321 that he had ceramic coated. They are out of N. Carolina, fairly inexpensive as I recall, talked to them a long time ago, you might want to check them out.
That's cool, I grew up with a bunch of Ford, Chevy, Mopar and even Studebaker junkies back in Indiana. Some times I think there's nothing like the BIG V8's.
Call Rich at SIP. He can knife edge, polish, nitrite and spin balance the crank.
Is that the kit that Andy sells at AZP? I know I asked him for pricing on the "big" Wilwood 6 piston calipers & 14.2" rotors with the rears w/ parking brake and they were going to run around $4700. for both sets.
You could also check Rich @ SIP, a misc vender on here. While you're at it add an ATI Super Damper--well worth the money, then figure out what clutch- flywheel combo you want to use and get the crank spin balanced with the flywheel and ATI.
Good job on the links. I was just looking at the ones JE--SIKKY makes for the Nissans. I want to change the front ones that came with the White Line sway bars. If JE can't come up with a set for mine I would buy a set for the front from you--if you have the extra pieces necessary.
Also, can't...
I'm using Wiseco pistons in my new build. I actually specked JE pistons but James @ JE Import Performance said that he would rather use the Wiseco pistons. He has had very good luck with them the Nissan builds that he's done. We'll see, I'm also looking for 650+ rwhp out of this build.
What...
I have a "new" OEM water pump--maybe 500 miles on it? sitting on the shelf. Let me know if you want it. The only reason it's not on my current build is because JE went ahead and bought another new one. All I ask is that you pay the shipping-you can have the pump.--Kind of like the "old" car club...
I have to laugh, but I actually think it's pretty cool---off the wall. I like it for a piece of art work, some one put a lot of money into making this rolling toy.
Hey Mark, thanks for the greeting. I had missed this chat area until yesterday! Thanks for starting it.
After the '08 meet I ended up with a BHG and started a new rebuild. It has been going on now for 2 yrs.--off and on . JE Import Performance here in Baltimore has been working on it and the...
