    Another new mkIII owner!

Lol at this thread. Always an argument about 7M v JZ. Who cares? It's his car, let him do the research and decide for himself. Besides, everyone knows the MKIII was an Autobot.

Toyota HG design and power capability?

No idea which is better but I've been using Fel-Pro for years in almost a dozen cars and I haven't had one fail on me yet. They get a bad rap sometimes in the import community but I've never had a problem with one.

    Saved from the crusher

Sorry about the delay. Guess it wasn't as done as I thought, lol. Went to pull it out of the garage and it stalled immediately, huge cloud of black smoke. Broke out the multimeter again and after checking literally every circuit in the EFI system both at the sensor and at the ECU found the my...

rough engine after head gasket job! help

Check again for vacuum leaks and any loose connectors. A leak too small to hear can still affect your idle. Also, did you double check your cam timing by pulling the timing cover or only through the oil fill hole? If it's not a vacuum leak or loose connector then your cam may be off a tooth.

You know you're a Supra owner when...

....when you walk out of a store and a car in the parking lot with the hood up has some obscure problem no one has ever heard of before. The owner describes the symptoms he's been having and you immediately know what the problem is because your Supra was doing that two months ago. You grab...

Any tips to straighten crushed heater core tube?

Not going to find a pipe expander that small but maybe a large diameter punch from Harbor Freight would press it back out. Did you cut the jiggle valve off the thermostat and burp the cooling system with the car on an incline?

    Saved from the crusher

ZOMBIE THREAD! Well I finally got the stubborn thing started. I finished the engine months ago and got it in only to have nothing happen when I turn the key. Electrical problems, f***! So I broke out the multimeter and started tracing wires. Months later I get it to start on it's own. What...

SupraMania: What Do Yo Do? Who Are You In Life?

I am a math teacher at a charter school. I double majored in physics and math and as I discovered I truly enjoy teaching I decided to make a career out of it. Working with teenagers every (m***** F***ing) day can be quite a challenge, I admit, but no two days are ever the same and I've never...

How does the engine look like inside when ran without oil?

All the engine I've seen that suffered oil starvation looked like the internals got attacked by an angry wolverine.
