So I just got back from vacation about 2 minutes ago and as soon as I got back I started to take a few things apart and took pictures. There was a decent amount of oil in all of the intake piping, and the turbo shaft has a bout 1/8" of play, I have a feeling that is too much. Still going to do...
WhiteMike, I can't tell if you're making another joke. I haven't been doing anything crazy though, I honestly don't see how it could be a BHG. But I'm going to cover my bases.
I shouldn't have a BHG, I have a 1.4mm cometic MHG torqued down tight. I'm starting to think its the turbo cause I have seen oil in the intake pipes before, both in my intercooler piping and in my intake pipe. I'm out of town right now, but when I get back I'm going to do a compression check.
I know its really ugly, but until now I was in the process of getting a BIC stealth with a ddp. but until I get the smoking issue fixed that has been put on hold. How likely do you guys think it is blow by, bad valve seals, or the seals in the turbo. for each scenario what's your guy's opinion...
It might be the turbo, on that 200mi drive I seem to have gone through a little under 2qts of oil as well. Anyone else think it could be the seals in the turbo?

That is a video of my supra blowing smoke, and I have no idea what it could be. It couldn't be a BHG cause I just drove 200miles and the coolant level hasn't changed. I just changed the oil from my winter oil and I thought that since I was running...
Sorry to thread jack, but is the stock boost gauge all electric, cause I have this old autometer phantom that is vacuum only, and I wanted to know if it would be worth mounting up in the dash.
I would totally be interested in a weekend get together. I'm going to be in the Indy/Cincy area all summer, just hit me up... Really pissed I missed the Indy meet...
I just got an o2 sensor and a temp sensor, do I need to rtv or plumbers tape the temp sensor? And also the o2 sensor I got only has one wire and the one on there now has two, do you guys know anything about that? its a Bosch o2 sensor and it says it is for my car but I don't know.
I have a friend with an IS300, and he says that they got their community together and petitioned Energy Suspension to make a master poly kit for the IS. From my understanding they accepted and the kit will be out this summer. Considering the only full poly kit I could find for our cars is about...
So yesterday I went out to an autocross, on the way there I got a 25 and 26 code. I cleared it and participated, on my last run I noticed that my check engine light came on at WOT then went away. When I went back I checked the code and it was a 34. On the way home I gave it some gas and found...
I'm in the Lafayette area and need help diagnosing some problems. If any one is interested in a ride along and maybe helping to work out some kinks, PM me.
