oh, wow, that's a beautiful car, not entirely perfect (OCD here) but with a little attention and care... I know it'll be there  have fun dodging those speedbumps in the mean-time ;) (yeah I just noticed how low the exhaust is O_o holy cow)
I had one made in jan. of 89 every part on it was post 88. it was a ma70 chassis though :-/ (turbo)
gotta say though, I did disassemble the chassis harness on my 87 to match up to the 89 ECU (did drivetrain swap into N/A 87 hardtop), none of the diagrams I had matched.... luckily there's...
hm... I'm no engineer, I was just speaking from personal experience and recollection.
c5 vette had rear-mounted transmission?? ;) I'm guessing it didn't, I have no idea.
hey, that sounds excellent te72, I like me some nintendo core music :p I'll check that out too
Oh, BTW the copy I have of that keef baker track is a LOT clearer... much better than that youtube quality -_-
look anywhere and everywhere... my N/A was purchased with the help of a personal friend (supra guru) that's not his name or anything, just what he is, someone he knew was selling it. old guy owned it, always kept up with maintenance. my current 89 turbo was bought from a personal friend. he...
hrm... I've got free-flowing exhaust (was put together with the idea in mind that it'd be hacked up shortly to fit a s300-56) but it's a bellmouth 3" all the way. and for some reason it feels like 8-12 psi is nothing but hot air. I almost feel that 8 psi is making more power :-/ I'll...
never head of these guys :icon_surp I alway love how you stumble across new excellence when minds come together
awesome, I'm diggin it :icon_razz
seems promising  I'll need some serious spare time, but I'll start digging :icon_bigg
hell yeah, this is different, but I'm intrigued...
I really enjoy music by a lot of obscure artists. Lots of instrumental stuff. I thought I'd share the track that just came up on my mp3 player, as the artist is brilliant. The song really grabbed my attention, but caught me off guard since I'm very familiar with the artist but not the song...
it's doable... I just got my 89 turbo for $2,500 rebuilt engine. my buddy also just picked up a turbo 87 for $2,500 fresh rebuilt engine as well...
my car's in kindof rough shape, but to me it was worth it just for the parts alone. I'm looking for a good hardtop to swap my drivetrain into...
yeah, it's a definite buzzing noise... really annoying. it seems my shifter is a lil wore out... if I hold the shifter in just the right spot the noise goes away... haven't gotten around to disassembling it yet.
indeed, it's doable.... just that the injectors are running a very high duty cycle... as for turbos.... I'd go with the T4 variant of the s300-56 ETT .83 A/R (hot side)
most likely what I'll be getting... will only be shooting for 400whp on a stock block w/ some head work... might get 265...
yeah, I felt like they didn't make them :( I'm going to give the bilsteins a shot w/ rsr springs... just need to find a hardtop. my targa is so heavy suspension work would just be a waste... at least that's how I feel
on a side note I've read that my springs are so stiff (race rsr) that...
