So I start the car and for some reason the ebrake light stays on when I release it. When I pulled the ebrake the light got a little brighter, but when I released it, it dimed slightly but stayed on. After a few minutes of driving it went off, but after a few more miles, the brake light came on...
The torque starts peaking at 4500rpm, but the horsepower doesn't peak until 6000rpm. So the turbo is pulling all the way to redline.
Here are some pics of said head work.
Targa actually. And at the end of this month I'm moving from this hole and relocating to Charleston SC. Nobody's representing Supra's down there. Especially not MKIII's.
Never ran a ct26 on this setup. Exhaust is full 3" all the way back. However, the Trust muffler shrinks down to around 2.5" at it's base. Probably as a noise suppressant. I've very surprised with the power curve as well. The torque does seem to drop off at around 5500rpm. I'm actually surprised...
Supposedly they are stock turbo cams that had extra material welded on the lobes to raise them. Not sure how much, but since I'm pulling -21in vacuum at idle, I can't imagine them being too aggressive.
467whp @ 18psi. I'm happy with that. They were going to go for 22psi but electric boost controller started wigging-out and jumping boost all over the place. They powered it off and set the wastegate spring at 18psi and it held steady. Shame because I bet it would have cracked 500whp otherwise...
They were going to tune at 22psi but boost controller wasn't cooperating. Boost was set at the wastegate spring for 18psi. Could probably have gotten 500whp at 22psi :(
Don't mind the exterior. I had to get the engine dialed-in before body work and paint. Mod list is in my signature.
Enjoy...
Sounds like a good opportunity to perform the "big 3" with 4ga wire or larger. Terminals can be purchased damn near anywhere. This is an extremely easy process.

Same here. Lol. Had no turn signals for months and it turned out that I never fully inserted the plug into the hazard switch when installing a new radio.
Sounds to me like you're referring to the china made T4 kits. Be weary of those. Quality for the most part is quite poor. If you're on a budget, start with a 57 or larger trim for your ct26. I hear albert's rebuilt ct26 turbo's put down some good numbers. You can also watch the for sale section...
Ok, so I've taken care of numerous boost leaks. Installed an in-line check valve between the ISCV and filter as well as from the intake manifold to catch can (crappy Purolator pcv valve was not holding well). Also fixed some wiring to the EMS, wired electric fans and set them to come on at...
Installed one-way inline check valves on the IACV and PCV systems. This alleviated two major boost leaks. Also wired in my FAL fans into the AEM EMS and performed the 12v fuel pump relay mod for my Denso 285lph pump.
Here's a vid I took today. Idle is nice and steady and fans come on towards...
Yeah, that car is ugly as sin, but the part list is pretty impressive. Not understanding the 2" intercooler pipes tho. I've never heard of someone using such a small diameter when upgrading the stock setup.
