Just trying to verify the issue i have w/ my motor. I have a 87 n/a supra. It has a 89 turbo motor, and 87 wiring harness and ecu in it, but I don't have a hac sensor for a 87 turbo, since the donor car was a 89. The car ran fine in greensboro, NC earlier today (roughly 800ft above sea...
I need some help here guys. We plugged up a 89 engine, wiring and ecu to a 87 car, and it apparently fried integration realy #2. I found the one in my 89 and took it out, but me and my friend were unable to find the location of it in the 87 (online tsrm is for '90 year model). Any help would...
My frind cj and I swapped the motor from my 89 supra + wiring harness and ecu into a 87 n/a I just bought. The body harness plugs into the 89 turbo ecu. The issue we're having is that when the battery is hooked up, the lights turn on, but do not flip up, and the horn on the firewall emits a...
I guess I need a little help on this one. I'm just trying to get my idle sorted out. I've done as much searching as I can, and can't find any answers. Anyhow, I'm using a 1uz TB on a stock intake mani w/ no isc. My idle is @ 700 when cold, and 1,300-1,400 when warm. I also ran the coolant...
so, I have a trust replica from shine auto... and it has some areas that have rather severe sanding marks... what did you guys do?
i was thinking of trying to sand it down fine and polish it.... would that even work w/ this type of material? (or could i sand and polish the whole thing to get...
I already searched for the wiring diagram for the greddy TT, and was unable to come up with one. Will someone please post one, or let me know where to look. Thanks
ok... so, i'm trying to remember the name of a series of short internet videos
they make fun of ricers/F+F
they drive a green lt-1 camaro , their mom's car, and a white 80's TT 300zx
help me out here... i've been looking for over an hour now :aigo:
I'm trying to decide which ones to get... just looking to get feedback, especially from people that have used more than one type of sway bar (tanabe, ST, whiteline)
pretty much, my car smokes....
After I let the car warm up, and get on it for the first time, the car makes a fairly good ammount of smoke, but never does it again until I turn it off, let it cool, and then drive it again.... is this normal? exhaust = bic dp w/ a 3" muffler bolted to it...
The question is, does the car sit lower than our usdm counter-parts, and if so, by how much?
I'm debating buying a set of springs/springs from a jza70 supra. :)
reason i posted this, is because my "new supra" poll thread failed in part because people are still posting in it as if a new supra will made :icon_conf :nono:
in light of recent "new supra" threads... what is your position on this topic?
This thread in no way, shape, or form will reflect the correct number of people who are interested or dis-interested in a "new supra", or the large amount of "new supra" threads.
so, here in va beach... apparently my car LOVES the cold weather....
got a lil bored tonight... drove the supra down to the waterfront to get her nice and warmed up, and turned back around to go down the freeway... coming from the first red light i pinned the throttle... nothing but wheel...
i'm using a rather thin exhaust housing to dp gasket, and i was wondering if anyone has ever had issues w/ the wastegate flap hitting the inside of the dp
i'm a bit lazy, and i'd kinda like to wait till i get soft ct oil lines before i tear apart the left side of the engine :)
thanks,
dallas
curious if running no pump will cause any problems, reason i'm wondering is I now have a leaking rack, and it was fine 2 months back when i had p/s on the car.... discuss
The situation is; my car will not warm up. Now that it's winter time, the water temp gauge won't go over the 1/5 mark (there's isn't a mark). Even after driving for 20 min, then gitting into the throttle some, it still won't warm up over 1/5. Is this good or bad?
