I maxed out my 20 ton press not too long ago with a seized part.
Didn't think I would be able to get it off but finally put some heat to it with a torch.

The press just did not have enough force to remove the bearing?
Yeah just curious on that, have seen some older engines having long term compatibility issues with ethanol.
Could be from methanol injections systems or water in the ethanol.

It sounds like its not measuring the correct amount of air that is actually going into the engine.
In the past I have forgot to connect some air / vacuum lines, the car ran like shit until I remembered what was messed up.
Allows any trapped air in the system to pass through the thermostat area.
Then move to an area where it can bleed out of the system in time (Radiator Cap, overflow tank)
Its called a jiggle pin or jiggle valve.

Most vehicle place the pin at 12o'clock or 1o'clock.
There are exceptions though.
