Actually looking again I think it is pin 7 instead of 1, but anyway 24 ohms is too high and would explain why the LH lights are dim. Doesn't explain blowing the fuse though, unless other weird things are going on in the switch. I would strongly suggest checking out the LH circuit because if it...
On: Pins 1,2, 5, 8 are connected together. Pins 6 & 7 are connected.
Off: Pins 7 & 9 connected.
I think 3 & 10 are the switch illumination light.
Applying 12V to pin 8 on the body connector should illuminate the LH lights, and pin 5 the RH lights. Make sure you fuse your jumper if you are...
The 7MGTE ECUs from 87 through 93 use the exact same knock sensor processor. I doubt there is any difference other than connectors between the various knock sensors for the GTE.
Its a good question, so why the diodes in the combo meter tying the three bulbs together? You would expect the charge light to be connected directly to the L terminal on the alternator and would light up when the alt signals a failure.
I suspect that the current in the L circuit during normal...
I'm not sure how you conclude that. The charge light (and the other two lamps in the combination meter) connect to the L terminal of the alternator. Why do you think the L terminal is a diode? Its actually part of the voltage regulator in the alternator.
As a side note, the rectifier...
You can try replacing the brushes first. Its pretty easy on this alternator.

The Transgo shift kit comes with a few options, namely street, strip, or off-road. Off-road seems to be just adding low gear hold, so not of great interest. But can anyone comment on the difference between street and strip? Is strip too harsh for a daily driver?
Thanks for the suggestions. WOT is 60% in this datalog, so 24% is about half WOT. From the seat-of-the-pants it is making pretty good power. There is definitely substantial timing reduction due to detected knock, but no knock is audible to me. I agree a wideband would be useful here. I need to...
7MGTE with CT26 running at 11psi. Stock fuel system, 75mm exhaust, cartech intercooler.
I feel (and datalog) a sag in power that start at 3200 rpm and last until 3600 rpm. It is subtle, not a collapse, but just doesn't make as much power. After 3600 rpm power stays solid to redline.
It...
There may be some variation with year. Still, they all behave the same. Blue is 12V, and the two light-green wires are control. If you don' have 12V at the blue, then you need to trace back. The power goes through three separate harnesses before getting to the wiper fuse block. You will need...
Since this started after you changed plugs, I'd look there. I'd check that you connected the plug wires correctly, and the plugs themselves are gapped properly. Pull them out and check the condition of each one.
You can't check codes? Are paper clips in short supply at the moment?
I'm not a parts expert so I may be misinterpreting it. The A/T have the shift lock. Don't know why that would matter, but it is all I can think of.
