That is an odd result. The dampener screw should move. Are you sure the line is pressurized (you can hear the fuel pump run?).
For the EGR tests you are saying that you did test 6(b) and engine ran rough? Also, for EGR vac mod you plugged ports P and R and blew into Q with air passing to filter?
The seal size is 10X20X6mm DBL METRIC SEAL. You can order this at partsamerica.com (SKF 563709), but I got mine from Motion Industries for $2.10 ea. You can also use a 10X20X7mm DBL if you like (SKF 563509).
That is correct. The fuel-pressure up VSV is only used for a few seconds during a hot start to raise fuel pressure and help prevent vaporization of the gas in the fuel rail from heat soak. It is not used at any other time.
I think the first thing to do is confirm that the high air temp readings are accurate. It could be that the hot AFM is making the sensor read hotter than the air temp actually is. I plan to measure the temp in the accordion tube with a thermocouple and see if it matches the AFM sensor.
I wouldn't bother with the ducting. My tests on the stock air cleaner show that the incoming air is pretty near ambient, the stock system pulls air from in front of the radiator and it works well. The problem is that the AFM get really hot. Put your hand on it after running a while. the air...
The rear one has a bolt to mount the stay for the hose coming from the heater union. I am amazed no one still has this part?
