It won't start and the fuel pump won't activate with the air flow meter unplugged. And the 7MGTE and 7MGTE do not have a MAF meter.
A liar is a possibility.
I am talking to a nuclear recruiter. Entry level operator (non-licensed). Ford (Dearborn) already offered me to go sit in a cubicle. I might just take it.
This is how you fill with coolant and get the air out of a 7MGTE. There are no jack stands or hills involved. Let it get hot. Let the thermostat open. Turn your heater on. You will see the coolant drop quickly in the funnel when the thermostat opens. See the air bubbles coming out on their own...
I have read here and there about that much power but with 104 or C16. The E85 injectors need to be bigger by a large amount because the BTU content of alcohol is not good. But you knew that. I think you can find some of threads, possibly in the build section.
I was looking at the Lexus dealer I worked at last summer. They are down to 6 techs and there might be 40 bays. I didn't count. Standard stuff, 20 on each side. I was there 2 months and 7 quit before me. So, ignore the ads you see for Wyotech and UTI, unless you really are interested. And then...
It is hard to do all of it OEM, as it is out of production. And assholes are selling reman units for significantly more money because the aftermarket sucks. Good luck in your endeavor.
More like first 5 minutes. And multi-grade oil is still used. 30 grade-which does not flow cold,is a good way to ruin a new engine. Or more correctly, shorten the bearing life.
I bought hood supports from Rock Auto which were not Toyota/ND/Aisin. I decided because the cost was too good, and Monroe makes struts and dampers for the industry. They are not left and right. New hardware (ball stud) goes in. Mine starting oozing out.
Revived from the dead. Ford is using DexCool, and I use that term loosely, these days. I had a hard time finding published GM or Ford info on compatibility. They still like to pretend that they don't do some of the things they do. I found information from Ashland (Zerex) stating you could use...
There are not the same from a technical point of view. The 7MGTE was built from the 7MGE with modifications. Perhaps that is what you meant. The 7MGE has a better compression ratio at 9.2:1. Which is still quite low for pump gas.
Should I take pictures of the distributor O-ring installation so you can all stop doing it wrong? I know many failed to retime the engine and/or the CPS. If you want high resolution pictures, just say so.
^ This.
Let me add you can get generic O-ring kits for R-134 at the autoparts stores that sell the R-134 in a can with a nozzle. If your system is empty and not under pressure, change the O-Rings. If you know somebody with a vacuum pump from Harbor Freight, pull to vacuum for 30 minutes...
