    Understanding on fuel cut

What do the knock sensors have to do with fuel cut?

    Is this mhg ok?

A Titan = Cometic MHG. Is the stained area rough? If you very lightly press on the Viton in the stained area with a pop sickle stick, is the Viton still flexible? (compare to a non-stain area) Where the Viton rubbed off on the ring should be fine.

Questions for those who run a blitz nur spec on 7m

That's my point - the current version of the Blitz Nur has near perfect fitment on USDM cars. The older versions were made for JDM cars, hence the length issue. The DP is obviously a factor as well - mine is a SP custom DP mated to the GT-61, it resulted in the Blitz being a bit short. Best...

Questions for those who run a blitz nur spec on 7m

Some do, some don't. Most the time the Blitz Nur is a bit short (~1"). That's why I suggested he hang the exhaust with the CAT on the DP to see exactly how much, if any.

Take a look at your CSI and make sure it's not stuck open.

    Understanding on fuel cut

Even with a Lex, you will max out at 16-18 psi of boost depending on OAT, the IC piping, type turbo, and DP used (plus a couple other factors). Keep in mind FC is determined by the volume of air that flows past the AFM, not the psi produced by the turbo. As a result, every car is going to be...

Questions for those who run a blitz nur spec on 7m

Gaboon - I have a Blitz Nur. All I did was "tweak" the hangers and it fit fine on my CAT...the CAT is an Exhaust Depot high flow. However, welding a 1-2" extension/flange to the rear of the CAT will work just as well or better. I would fit the CAT to the DP and hang the NUR to get the exact...

On a stock AFM, that's maxed out. (kinda surprised you're that high)

Well, She's hurt :'( -Mystery of the sudden #2 no-compression misfire solved

Ummmm...might want to think how really ignorant this sounds. If your mechanic/machinist told you this, you have found your problem. What brand OEM HG? Was the block deck checked for warp-age? FYI - the 75 ft/lbs ARP recommends for their head bolts is plenty. I'll be honest (after...

Throttle body difference? Auto Vs 5speed...

Fixed that for ya ;) I would check codes - if a code 51 shows at idle without the AC on or your foot on the gas, the ECU is not in idle speed mode. In this case, the TPS will need to be adjusted. BTW - a 600-700 warm engine idle is perfectly normal, regardless of OAT.

Shot the .40 cal M&P compact today for the 1st time: Put 50 rnds of 180gr FMC/TC at 1050 FPS through it...the 1st 20 rnds on the bottom target at 20'...just getting used to the feel of the gun. The next 20 rnds on the top target at 20', followed by 10 rnds on the top at 30'. You can see...

Not exactly sure what you're trying to say, but by all means, feel free to create one...I'll personally put it in the articles section ;)

How to tell if I have a turbo automatic transmission

All one would have to do is read the auto tranny section of the TSRM and the main differences become obvious (there's even pictures). A sticky in this case would only be a repeat of something that is already well documented. The different part numbers for the clutch plates is good to know though.

Didn't know that Jeff! I always assumed they were the same (there's that word again). Do you know what the difference is?
