Do you know what a feedback system is? That means, in general, it responds to its own control. The ignitor does not do that. It generates a signal that is monitored by the PCM. An easy check, if you have one, is put in a known good ignitor. And maybe that isn't what you meant by feedback.

There are only 3 choices. The ignitor, the wiring from the ignitor to the PCM, or the PCM itself. The PCM rarely goes bad. People ruining it is not the same as going bad.

Do you have spark? Cylinder 6 is easy to check. Use a spark spark plug and ground it.

Yes. Injection is halted because you do not have spark confirmation (IGf) at the PCM.

The coil that fires 1 and 6 fires spark in cyliners 1 and 6 at the same time. But only one cylinder is firing its air/fuel charge. This is why it is called "waste spark". This is the cylinder firing order. Sent from my archaic device known as a keyboard.

I didn't get rid of the oil cooler. But I did put on a larger one. What is gone is the stock remote mount.
