Adding Cruise Control to a 1JZ

I am sure you could retrofit the 7M cruise unit, and just somehow fab a bracket to attach it to the throttle plate linkage. The speed sensor signals should be the same as the 7m as the same r154 trans is used.

Are rising Gas Prices affecting anyone from further modifying your supra?

Its up to $90 Canadian to fill up the Supra now with 94 oct pump gas!!!!!! My Supra gets better milage than my DD 4runner but with gas near $1.50 per litre ($5.67 per gallon) for 94 oct, 87 oct is at $1.34 right now ($5.06 per gallon) so there isnt much difference in the end. I wonder how much...

    BIC Thunder Exhaust

It is not reccomended for an n/a, its way to big and will be VERY loud. I think it is the perfect balance between performance and sound. It will be restriction free for up to 650+ hp but not as loud and low hanging as a 4" system which is overkill for 95% of the mk3 owners. I run it on my...

Houston Supra owners being called out by Houston240sx?

I built a KA for my brothers S13, running a 57 trim t3/t4, it put down 300 hp and 300tq, at 15 psi. It was sooooo much fun to drive, exept that the rev limmit is so low. Such a tourqy motor in a light car with good suspension was a blast. When I ran low (15psi) boost on my 1jz making about 370...

Catback, Downpipe (I'm a little confused)

We at BIC use flanges that have the same bolt spacing as the stock flanges, but with a 3" center hole instead of the 2.25" of the stock flanges. This way you can use any of the stock components with aftermarket or BIC parts. Randy

Would you/do you run made in china/taiwan car parts on your Supra?

I actually made the original 1jz Y pipe along with Turbo Drifter a few years ago for his car, he sold it to someone on SF and a few months later there were replicas of them , funny how that works. I would have made more of them but they were just way to labor intensive with 6-10 hours of...

Would you/do you run made in china/taiwan car parts on your Supra?

I try very hard to not use China made knock off parts. As a North American parts fabricator/ manufacturer myself, that has had my own custom parts sent to china and knocked off behind my back, I try as hard as possible to not support the China made knock-off market. It is different with name...

    Nightpager discs

I run the 350Z rotors with my Nightpager kit. They work great. I did try to grind the hub down to fit the MK4 rotors, it is doable but not the best answer.

    SILV exterior awards categories

I think Mild and Wild is fine for exterior awards, most cars with lips, and basic body kits would be mild, then the widebody, exessive JDM , and shaved cars would be considered wild.......dont worry Tek your car will be a top contendor for the Wild category!!
