Did you get the machine shop to mic the crank and let you know what size bearings to buy?
Also its a good idea to get the shop to check the eagle rods and balance the whole assembly.

Thats nothing. I have seen Toyota Corollas with 4age engines in New Zealand and Australia put out 300 hp. These are 1.8 liter and 2 liter motors.

Like I said earlier, I just tapped into the starter signal wire and wired it to a switch under my dashboard.
I used this switch as an emergency option when my car would not start. That way I did not waste money towing it.

You dont need a $200 one for automotive electrical work.
A $50 will work fine. Just buy a decent one and use the rest of the money on your aftermarket car part.
