Well, from what I recall it works for me most if not all of the time. I could be mistaken... i haven't driven my car for over a month and a half besides scooting it from one place to the next in my yard....

I'd also have to dissagree, it works. I'll try reverse, no-go. shift to 4th, back into reverse, slips in gear. :) I dont like letting the clutch out because it takes longer to wait for it to slow down and not slam when the reverse gear meshes. I hate that feeling. OH and moving the car...

I THOUGHT my owners manual (N/A supra) said premium, but it actually said not to run premium and I just read it wrong. Dunno about turbo owners manuals. Unless they're the same? hmmmm

That line was enough to make me stop reading the rest of the thread. I'll look over it just to see and not miss things but, anyway... :p I run 87 without problems in my n/a. it's stock (duh?) and i've tried 89 and 91, no really apparent differences. i wanted to think 'premium' was helpin...
