a QUArter of the way means absolutely shit. Get a real oil pressure gauge then report back with actual numbers then maybe someone will tell you what's going on, or you'll find the worthless factory oil pressure gauge is just that.... worthless....

That is a very dumb question. The answer is NO

The DEI remote starts can use either voltage or a tach signal. THe tach wire is purple/white. WHen it uses voltage I believe that the brain picks up voltage difference, so as long as it has enough voltage to crank then the brain will know what's going on.
