I've hooked them up with no breather, two lines going to the valve covers and one pre turbo. They work fine.
I know you are supposed to have a vacuum line from the intake with a check valve in it as that's the way its done if you go by the book.

Don't be a wuss when doing the swap. Degrease everything. Sand, Prime and paint it white. It will look sick as white flows with pink, purple and a load of colors that can be used as accents in the bay.
Just get the AEM wideband. All you need is the ability to have the wideband output a 0-5V reading and the AEM will read that.
Download the AEM software. Go to configurations. Click wideband and you will see all the ones they have preloaded for your to choose.
Use the 7M ones and then mix and match it. I used the 7M ones and then bent them to suit. If you don't have them, the JZ ones work, just a little more massaging.
I hate ECU's that are in the glovebox, unless the glovebox isn't used and they are mounted and not moving around.
