linked the plugs earlier but here is the dragonfire coils
Thats what has been done. Just with two instead of four. Most people are fabricating this on their own so i have relenquished the idea of selling a kit. Though if anyone wants a harness made i still have that.
it is impossible to find both parts of that connector without destroying something else. Driftmotion sells the female but not the male and unfortunatly it is keyed. So my recomendation is to pick up a square four weatherpack from your local parts store and reterminate both sides. Besides they...
The plate was designed to be held down with either thru bolts or studs between 2 and 3 and 4 and 5. My original was 1/4 it resisted flex due to uneven mounting. As far as the coils mine mounted under the bracket. Expand just the circle for the coil until cleared. The problem is usually at the 90...
I cut the post that goes down to the galley off all together. Doesnt affect the linkage at all. However it might be possible to clear the coil if you dont want to cut it. I will have to double check. But mind you it is close.
I can't answer that question. I built a harness in parallel it didn't work, built a harness based on the dsm harness and it worked. I don't have the tools to tell you why it worked where the other didn't. The answer lies in the coils but I can't get the published information to find the answer.
I will step in on this one. If you wire them in parallel there is a feedback loop through all the coils on the 12v. The kv signal will fire all the coils at ons and you will not be able to start. The current wiring solution was the only setup that worked short of using diodes to gate the...
