Yes 2wd. This is my second pickup. First was a 92 f150 4wd that I had when I lived out in the country. Even on the crappiest days on bad gravel country roads I never used 4wd. I remember using it to pull my buddy out of a field once, but that's about it. I'm not putting a plow in front so I...
I have a pickup. It's my daily driver. My whole driving style completely changes when I drive a pickup. When I'm driving anything else, I'm always flying through the gears. Driving my pickup, I'm perfectly happy with taking my time getting up to speed. I love driving it, it's just different.
I...
Will the trim look proper if I still have my pre89 tails? Or will it look "unfinished" because I wont have 89+ tails with the trim piece that is on the center tail light.
Well the Golf has been giving me fits since I've had it, and it's time to get rid of it. In it's place is a 2007 Ford F-150 XL Regular Cab v6 5-speed. So far so good, its a great reliable daily that is capable of towing anything that I am going to want to tow (small boat, car parts, etc.)...
As mentioned, I am not looking at a regular GT, but a Cobra, not sure if that makes a difference in build quality, but I thought I would throw that out there.
I do remember absolutely loving driving the Supra every time I got behind the wheel, which always surprised me since it was NA at the...
Okay last year I got started with the tear down of my 87. Motors pulled and ready for a rebuild. But it's been sitting ever since. I can't get the motivation to get my ass in gear and work on it. I loved the car to death when I drove it, but now, I find myself looking for other cars...
I know exactly what you mean. Adolf is as modded as its getting right now. That is definite. Oh and by the way, there pickups, not trucks! ;)

1997 GTI 2.0 5-Speed only 130,000. On FK Coils, 14" BBS wheels, front and rear strut braces, Intake and Exhaust. What a fun car to drive! I drive a lot, so I figured why not have a car that I can have fun in as well while the Supra is (very very patiently) waiting to go under the knife. Plans...
Okay, so my brother in law said I could buy his 1997 VW Golf GTI 2.0 5 speed from him. I do want it, but it needs work, most likely a transmission. He said I can have it, and when/if I decide to keep it, when I sell my 1998 Ford Escort Sedan Sport 2.0 5-speed, I will give him 1200 of whatever...
Update:
Got the head off tonight. The cylinder walls look like they have been honed, cross hatching is clearly visible, and look great. Definitely looks like a BHG though. The head needs to be cleaned and gone through. Ill let the pictures speak for themselves, and would greatly appreciate...
Thanks for the motivation. Thats what it's going to be too....piece by piece. The engine bay will be spotless when I'm done. I definitely have more time than money.

I love the rear carpet, its a perfect fit, finished edges, etc. But the main passenger area carpet sucked, it was a little too short along the door sills, so it pops up all the time. I am taking the carpet from my parts car and using that, its in good shape. A buddy of mine actually painted...
I love the look of the seats as well, but I recommend spending the extra dough and getting genuine leather, mine are faux leather, and are not very durable at all. Where my but sits on the drivers seat is already starting to wear out.
I might go that route, this is going to be a long term build, not anything that is going to be done in a month. I am pulling the head either tonight, or this weekend.
CyFi6, I bought the driftmotion gasket set, it comes with a HG that does not have water jacket reinforcing, it will be a wall...
