/\ hah, yeah...or you could park another black supra there with your rims and see if anybody drives by and throws a fit wondering what the fuck happened to their work. kinda risky though...lol.
holy poop. NICE!!!
Haha, in response to the title; I am confused by how many ITB supra-sourced engine's are in existence on the forums, and then how many of them YOU made. I'm thinking two, a 6m block/head, and this 7m head/6m block.... right?
I remember the one from 2007 and did a search...
Like was said at first...holy fuck.
Really glad you weren't close to the car when it went up! Might not be to important but did you ever get any idiots trying to race you on the road? some prick could have gotten his insane panties all in a bunch.
Was the battery out so it wouldn't get...
have you looked at your blinkers to make sure they are all blinking on the outside of the car?
I'd check them to see if they blink, then hit the emergency flashers and see how that does.
I'm not sure I know what the problem is, if a bulb is out the circuit is cut and it makes the signal relay...
Man, that really really blows. I'm really glad you two got out of it alive though.
It's too bad that lady didn't make it out of her life's drama.
Best wishes with all of the paperwork and crap associated with getting reimbursed for this, and the emotional bits as well.
I was wondering about that myself but I didn't want to say anything....
I thought maybe it was because of the wreck...:icon_mad: but i really had no idea. i guess it was silly to think you'd let something like that past when you've done so much great work huh? :biglaugh::sarcasm:
awesome stuff toyofreak! lots of room up front!! sheesh. is that 2jz mounted further back than a normal swap would be for better handling or does it just look that way because the radiator and fan aren't there anymore?
BTW my friend has been mentioning to me that Grassroots is going a...
ninja edit.
I like this vette more and more every time I read about it.
apparently i'm thinking like you guys, i forgot to hit "post" with my original words, and what I said sat long enough for all the vette posts to come up before it. lol... oh well.
LOL
that was a good video.
Is nobody in this thread mildly concerned with the fact some are revealing how they disable/enable their cars?
I dunno... I just wouldn't go through the effort to install a kill switch and then explain on a public forum how to disable it and start the vehicle...
I like the mock-up you have, great rims.
All the blood sweat and tears you put into that car make it worth ssOOOOOoooo much more than 9 grand... nice job.
could it be his diff?
differential whine is common when they start to fail, no? Maybe it just takes the kind of drivetrain/axle RPM obtained in 5th to be audible?
i dont know what it sounds like if/when this happens, but I agree with bad starter.
how does the starter engage the flywheel? Can the release go bad and keep the starter engaged?
it would be nice if you could have someone else crank it or at least have someone listen and pinpoint where...
I'd go toyota. not felpro.
I believe that was on my car when i tore it down for a BHG fix. I dont know how well it was installed but it was bent to shit so...i dunno.
did you do anything to the PS, AC, water pump, or alternator? could it be one of those froze up causing the belt to squeal or maybe one is going bad and squealing internally?
