This isn't cool.... The crankshaft timing pulley has damage to the keyway as well! WHY did that one get smooshed? There is some wear damage when feeling the difference between where the dampaner pulley was touching the shaft, to the rest of the shaft...caused by the crankshaft wobbling...

what is it weeping and how does it begin to weep? is this by design to indicate needed replacement?

I can see a little moisture and a trail of thick black sludge running from the hole. Is it some sort of drain?
