Thanks for the suggestions. The oil pump will be replaced, and my mechanic Keith mentioned shimming the oil pump as well. The oil filter will be relocated and an oil cooler will be incorporated.
As for the air/fuel components, I'm leaning towards the complete fuel kit that suprasport...
I have decided to ship my 7M over to legendofaces to perform a stage 2 rebuild. These are quoted to handle between 400 and 500 crank hp. My goal is 450. I've got the engine and exhaust covered, but I'm clueless when it comes to fuel and engine management. Can anyone lend some help on these...
I have decided to have legendofaces.com rebuild my engine with their Package 2. It consists of the following:

I found the issue. One of the coolant hoses that goes to the back of the block is either cracked or not connecting all the way. I think it is the one right behind the spark plug galley, and at high rpms I think the pressure is causing it to spray into the galley as well.
Not sure if I'll...
After a little more searching, I think it may be one of the hoses off the back of the block. I'll have to check when I get some more time. For now the Supra will sit, and the 4Runner will get the nod.

The other night I took the Supra for a short drive, giving her boost, and when I shut her off I noticed white smoke coming from the engine bay. When I looked at the engine the smoke quickly went away. Well this morning I drove her to work, and really got into the boost. When I parked at work...
Do I have to remove the bumber to install IC hard pipes? I received my Cooleeze pipes and want to get them in soon, just want to make sure I attack it correctly.
Thanks.
Ben
Do the cooleeze IC pipes follow the same route as the stockers? Do they go through the little hole in the fender, or do they follow the route of the stock air box?
Thanks.
Ben
Another possibility is that I removed the drain piece from the spare tire well. Maybe when the windows are open it's causing air to be sucked in there from below the car. Seems unlikely however and doesn't explain the stoplight situations.
Ben
Good thought! I do have an hks bov that is vented to the atmosphere. When I get my cooleeze pipes this week I'll run it rerouted to see if that helps. I'll update after.

Well, I'm running the ebay recirc ddp that I purchased from 935. And I just used the gaskets that came with it, but I'm not sure what other gaskets I could use. Those were specifically made for this application, I think. Any advice?
Ben
I've been riding with a test pipe for the past month, and I think I've reached the point where I cannot stand the fumes anymore. I think it may be contributing to some very bad headaches lately as well. It's really bad when at a stop, but it's also there when driving as well, especially with...
I'll try to post a couple of pics tomorrow. I can't imagine you can get much quieter than this exhaust. This is a full cat-back system, but I'm running no cats. DDP to test to exhaust.
It is amazing how much more fun it is driving my car now than it was just a few days ago! For example...
