Very true! I think it would be best to rebuild it as well. I've been wanting to go with the 2j bottom end, but it might be alot faster to just get this rebuilt and then in a few years go 1.5.

So when ever I press in the clutch peddle today it will make a constant clicking noise, and if I raise the rpm's it will get alittle louder and clicking noise is faster. Also when I was trying to list to the noise and would press the clutch in and out, the engine stopped running when I press it...

I hear alot of people have problems with the ngk irirdiums, Toyota has a realy good one for the mkiv, the tips are realy thick. I think it's the plugs at fault. As far as the coils go, I did not see the cracks mine untill I realy looked hard under bright light. Worth a shot.

I would try a diffrent boost controller, there should be no reson it shouldn't boost higher. If the boost went up after you pulled off the hose, then I would think it to be the mbc.
