I have the final wiring diagram here:
In addition the short black/white wire with a spade goes to 12V and the black wire with the ring terminal goes to ground.
I think I have solved it. I have a 1992 supplement to the TEWD for the EU model (or so I thought). But it turns out that it is a supplement for all including TEMS cars.
And there I found this:
Here the O1 plug is called IM1 and you can see that now the O1 pin 2 has been changed to IM1...
Actually looking at the wiring diagram it seems nothing goes on pin 2, 11 and 20 on the O1 connector. They are not connected on the TEWD. So I was wondering if the missing pin 9 is actually what is denoted at pin 2 on the TEMS diagram and that there is an error in the TEWD regarding the L1 going...
I've started another thread about hardwiring the HKS TEMS controller (I didn't see this one)
http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?177799-Need-help-from-Wiring-Guru-TEMS-system.-Hardwiring-HKS-TEMS-controller
So if any all all you experienced HKS TEMS controller owners can help...
All the intercepted signals are switch on/off by the AUTO/MANUAL button.
So it seems that the O1 pin 9 must go to the TEMS ECU. So if anyone has time to measure which pin it goes to on the TEMS ECU I'll be very grateful.
I read here: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?111721-The-TEMS-System-and-HKS-EAC-T-Bible/page4
that the black/white separate wire that comes from the HKS TEMS controller supplies it with power.
So I stil need to know what pin 9 on the O1 plug does. If I press manual the...
I recently bought a HKS Tems controller and since my car is EURO spec and didn't come with TEMS I have wired it in myself a few years ago. And it works fine.
But since I did that I don't have the O1 plug / connector where the HKS TEMS controller plugs in so I have to hardwire it in mostly at...
The above email from Russ was a reply to me asking for a tracking number.
I then replied this:
Then Russ replied:
And then they screewed me over for two more months...
Funny thing is that I just contacted Boostlogic to ask if they had shipped the converter to HPF or to me or if I could just buy it from them if they had already built it and they told me that they never received an order from HPF and that they needed a core, which HPF never asked me for, before...
Well, they said it was a special order item that was made only for me and non-returnable.
But anyways I just checked with my bank and since I used my Mastercard to pay for it they will do a refund. It applies to special order items that are prepaid and the company going bust. That qualifies for...
I just found out that according to several websites that Horsepowerfreaks have gone out of business.
I ordered and paid for a new torque converter on february 13 2013. They waited until march 1st, when I contacted them asking when they were shipping it out, before they contacted me and told me...
Would you be able to use a parallel flow condenser with R12 without reducing performance of the system?
I read somewhere that the speed of the coolant flow (the through put) could be reduced with a parallel flow condenser which apparently shouldn't be good with R12.
There are two coolant sensors on the 2JZGTE. One goes to the gauge and one to the engine management. The one to the gauge works fine with the MA70 cluster. But I think you can actually use the original one from the 7M.
I'm sorry I must be blind then. I can see what you write about old amount + some new oil, but if I don't know the old amount? How much to put in a completely dried out system?
I'm sorry if you wrote it, but I can't find it.
