i think i found the problem.
i had everything blocked off in the back so the coolant was not circulating like its suposed to. i just ran a hose from the back of the head to the pipe that comes off the back of the water pump. these were both blocked off before.
ill take it for a spin and see if...
so i got it back up and running today... WTF!!! its still doing the some thing!!! so i guess it wasent the head gasket... its got be something simple...
i took it out for a ride and went maby 2 miles and by the time i got home it was getting close to 210 deg.!!!
brand new water pump, thermostat...
hell yes it will be ready!!! lol
heres a little update, im trying to work as fast as possible to get this thing on the road!
got the head back today and started re assembling,
the surface is A LOT smoother than the last time. last time it didn't even have any shine to it. looks like this...
you just need to get a 2" hole saw and go to town... its not to hard if your good with tools. it is kinda hard to get them to clear the ac vents when putting the cluster back in. i did it with no instruction what so ever. just kinda winged it... lol
cometic 2.5mm hg and i dont have anymore pics. but i can see lies or "groves" in the head surface. they are VERY slight but they are there. far from a mirror finish.
and yes arp's
ive herd i need to clean it off really good with acetone than spray it down with copper spray in order to re use it. no?
heres what happened,
