Damn, I feel offended, Lol; my Megan Coilovers are good so far (installed mid August). Then again, I haven't experienced any other brand.
Anyway, I was considering D2 Coilovers a month ago when I was in shopping around for coilovers however the price was a bit out of my range. But I'd play it...
And so it is....a BIC Divorced Downpipe order has been placed. And yet again....I am now broke (pocket). Thanks for all the advice/support guys!
Ohh, and my brake pedal decided to sink all the way down to the floor Friday evening (lost brake pressure). Thankfully, I was going at a slow speed...
Ohh, I didn't know BIC Performance goes the extra mile making custom components for their customers. I don't think I can ask Ebay to make me a custom DDP. Lol
I just emailed BIC Performance today; they said the "wait time" from order-to-delivery is around 2-3 weeks. Then again I'm in NY right below Toronto where they're located (shipping distance).
Ohh, what?!?! Clearly, there is some magic to this "DDP" that I've not yet seen before!
My guess (in terms of fluid mechanics): A bellmouth Dp causes exhaust gas turbulence in the "bellmouth region" before it reaches the 3" Dp section. As the turbo is spooling up (wastegate closed) exhaust...
I'm currently running a GrimmSpeed MBC set to 11psi (+/- 1psi depending on weather) staying away from fuel cut. I've got an Apexi Intake, full DM downpipe and exhaust (looking for another Dp), Megan EZ Street Coilovers and AEM Wideband afr.
And I might be upgrading to a ct26 57trim (puffing...
Ohh man, thanks! I don't think he meant to be offensive though (I hope not); then again how does he know if I'm as slow as a minivan. You got a ride in my Supra two weekends ago SideWinderGX; tell me....did that feel like a minvan to you?? Lol
And I thought that a "bellmouth" type downpipe was...
Hey guys, so I just lowered my Supra on Megan EZ Street Coilovers and dropped it almost 2 inches; now I'm scrapping my downpipe/exhaust in/out of my driveway. It caused the gasket seal btwn the turbo and downpipe to separate slightly (corner bolt between the turbo and exhaust manifold wasn't...
Lol, I ran a DM open downpipe from March to until I got my DM exhaust in June; maybe thats why I think its too quiet (I'm spoiled coming from an open downpipe).
Really?? Right now I have an Apexi Intake, full 3" DM downpipe and exhaust along with (not yet installed) RX7 550cc injectors and a Lexus afm. I'm on the stock ct26 with a Grimmspeed Mbc set to 10-11psi.
If I install my lex/550s how much Hp could I be around??
So I've been driving around with my DM Exhaust (w/ DM downpipe) for almost three months now and honestly....it's too damn quiet (for me). The DM Exhaust comes with a resonator integrated into the midpipe (no CATs). I was thinking to get two flanges and weld them onto a straight pipe replacing...
Hey guys, a buddy of mine just help me install my AEM UEGO Wideband afr. I've had it installed for a week now and when I'm idling my afr jumps back and forth between 14.8-16.5 (sometimes spikes to 17 and drops back down); on average I'd say it's around mid 15s. But when I'm at WOT, my afr is...
Driftmotion is my "GoTo" Supra-store (only place I buy from) but I just got off the phone from MVP Motorsports and spoke with Robert who gave me a GREAT deal (including shipping) on the Megan Coilovers (just started selling; not even listed on their website yet). I will be moving some funds...
No, my TEMS does work; only for the front shocks. I can tell the difference when in "Normal" or "Sport" mode; the front gets way softer/floater however, of course the back does not change.
