Unfortunately, my roommate is already thinking about moving out now; he showed someone else his room and the rest of the house. He found another place about two blocks away. 90% chance his moving....for sure.
Plus, I got pulled over last night; the cop didn't give me a ticket but he gave me a...
Thats another option actually; Driftmotion exhaust combination BIC performance ddp. I've seen some pictures of the one you have on a thread in Supraforums (pictures were taken by a lake or something). But yea, I'm really thinking of a Driftmotion exhaust as well! So many good options; I want to...
Ok, so I finally got my Driftmotion downpipe and installed it about a month ago. I'm running open downpipe and my Supra is DAMN LOUD (I love it!). However, my roommate has sleeping problems and when ever I get back from a "spirited" drive late at night (say 1am) I wake him up as I'm backing up...
Alright...as expected, I guess I deserve the comments I got. Lol I'm just so excited about FINALLY getting my Supra that I can't wait till Dec. 2014 when I graduate with my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (which has been a long difficult major) to start making really money to afford properly...
Okay, so I got an 88' 5sp Turbo completely stock w/ 105,000+ miles on it back in Oct. 2013. However, it has an oil leak. Its coming from the front of the motor; I think it may be the oil pan. I'm hoping its not the cam seals front main seal! But I been driving it since topping off the oil and it...
Just spoke to Aaron from Driftmotion. He said that was a typo. The exhaust was on back order in 2013 Nov. but he has 3 in stock now and is getting 5 tomorrow!
Damn dude...I was about to be depressed until 11/10/14. LOL I love the driftmotion exhaust!!
This is definitely out of your price range but if I would suggest any "best bang for buck" exhaust system, I'd go with CXracing/Driftmotion. Looks great, sounds great and is not too loud IMO. Then again, whats not too loud to me is probably loud for you. Lol
Right now I'm running a stock open...
I'm definitely in favor of maintenance but I'm a little worried about power washing the engine as water can seep into unwanted areas. I'm guessing its the front main seal or cams seals. There seems to be a lot of oil around the crank pulley.
Keep in mind, I'm a newbie.
Alright, so I finally got a Supra. Its a 1988 Mk3 Turbo Targa 5sp w/ 107,000+ miles completely stock. However, its leaking oil. The previous owner said he stopped driving it over the summer so maybe the cam seals or front main seals swelled up or something. He gave...

Just finished taking out my stock cat-back exhaust on my 88' 5sp Turbo. My car was completely stock before this and was WAY too quiet for my taste. Its much louder now and is definitely noticeable. This will satisfy me right now till I get a full exhaust; planning to go with driftmotion/cxracing...
Just picked up my first Supra in October 2013 for $1400. Its completely stock with 107,000+miles. Its a 1988 7mgte 5sp Turbo Targa. I have a year left till I graduate with a Bachelor's in Engineering so I'm still paying for school.
LoL So I'll keep it simple for this year:

Ahh damn, thats sucks. I've been told that its always best to "physically" be present and inspect a motor before committing to purchasing one....especially when its a used motor.
I once asked for advice on Tiger JDM and a few times people have referred me to these guys instead...
