the biggest issue with the r154 is the shifter engagement. If I end up doing something besides my built r154's I will be going to a cd009. If the were to get the transmission to shift as smooth and a t5 I would be interested, but I don't see that happening.
For that price if I were you I would...
for all of your requirements you better go custom. why would you have the need for an aftermarket manifold if you still have the factory oiling system? just doesn't make sense to me.
I cant remember if the ebay manifolds can use the factory oil filter adapter or not. But besides that I haven't...
just buy a cheap eristic gasket set off ebay. $50 or so for the full engine gasket set, or just buy a top end set. cheap and can replace all the shit gaskets you take off.
id try to pinpoint your leak if possible while together. dry everything up and see if you can find it, maybe put dye in the...
Probably will be in for a kit here too. I know the single plate clutches will bolt right up with a disc swap, but what about a twin or triple disc for the more power hungry builds?
I have a emu, and have two aem v1's in the past. if i were to do it again, i would by a MS3 pro and wire it up. There is just so much information on MS and the way i am rewiring my whole harness its a no brainier now I should have done MS. I do like the EMU, and loved my aem v1's, but the v1's...
I log on every day. on the work computer and home computer and lerk on both SF and SM. They are not anywhere near as active as a year or two ago even. Its sad, but the facebook groups are killing us here. I don't post like I used to, but there are also not as many new topics to post on as there...
Nick, you better do a compression test on it too. might get lucky and have it be valve steam seals, but may be unlikely. I do want you to bring it by sometime when its decent out. id love to check it out.
True at these power levels, he does not need an oil cooler upgrade, but it would be beneficial.
You should correct yourself, because the factory oiling system for a 7m is far from great. There are some pretty big flaws in it that can be easily corrected. It works, but is not great.

Been slowly working on putting mine in. id do it over aem v1 just because of ff capability, and sequential ability. thats why i actually went this route. i am making my own harness. im at a stand still at the moment as i was waiting on parts for it and pushed the car out to get busy on my other...
Pretty impressed with the numbers on only 20psi. what kind of timing are you running?
Should be able to still turn it up on the GE engine on e85. still very impressive.
This.
If you run a t-stat you don't have to worry about too cool of oil, and if you have a large enough cooler, you should never have to worry about it getting to warm either.
Very interested to see if it goes well first try. I am sure there are going to be a few bugs like all builds tho. Cant wait to see it fire up.
I know i want to do trigger wheel setups on mine, but I am a bit unsure on how to go about which tooth to set it on and wiring/programing it. Where did...
Okay, I had an injector unplugged. lol very simple, but fucked up a lot of things. It looked plugged in, but was out just enough to cause an issue.
Also with the aem when you are setting timing go in under the configure tab on the top of the screen. click on the ecu setup. and click on set...
I am in on the timing being off. I am fighting issues with timing on my v1 right now. It wont run past 6000rpm just drops all power under full throtlle, but under partial throttle i can run it up to redline. Redline is set at 7000. Been fighting it for a few weeks now. The tuner I keep having...
Yes, you can, but I don't care much for the jdm tyte tinted tails yo. So i stuck with making them look as nice as possible. I'm not really into the whole taillight tinting either.
It wouldn't be hard at all to make them like that tho. I got the idea from seeing his thread, but decided instead...
