yeah i am getting 14, 24, 34 now. i think the 14 is from when i did my compression test awhile back and i didnt clear it. the 24 is the intake temp sensor, which i havent cleared that since i soldered it too. and you all said that 34 is fuel cut right? i am gonna clear it all and see what comes...
do you know it works? i would have it pressure tested before you spend money doing anything. if it doesnt hold pressure then you might as well trash it and get a good one.
yeah i can spin my tires easily when shifting with 10psi. i also have a RPS 6 puck clutch, 3200lb pp, alum flywheel and DS. those upgrades made the biggest difference right there. the 3" dp and test pipe helped some too :)
i havent checked my codes yet, but i prob will whenever it stops...
its possible, but it was only like 60 yesterday. i did have a problem awhile back with my intake temp sensor having broke wires. i had to (soilder?) them back together which might give me a difference resistence. could that be related to it?
so what your saying is that you cant just jack the car up and adjust the stops on the threads? you have to drop it out of the tower and rotate the whole thing?
i think i hit fuel cut today. not sure since i have never done it before so it kinda scared me when it happened. i turned left at an off ramp light to go over a bridge, i hit second gear and my tires broke loose. thats when i got a big jerk forward got scared and saw my check engine light. my...
i am not at the track that much, but i am looking for something with better handling and adjustment also. i am not sure that i care alot about ride quality. i dont drive it on long trips or anything like that. that farthest i ever drive in a giving time is maybe 50 miles and thats rare. i know...
wondering who had any thoughts on the D2 coilovers. i know a couple ppl got them but didnt hear anything about it. the reveiws i read on horsepower freaks are all good. i wasnt sure if they would be a good deal for the money. considering they are priced roughly the same as the tein ss with more...
not sure what the distance is between the fender/struts. what is the best size for a 10 inch wide rim and an 8 inch wide rim. i heard 275's look good on 10's and 255's look good on 8's?
i just got some new rims. 18x8 front and 18x10 rear. what are the widest tires you can run on these? the front offset is +32 and rears are +35, or vice versa i cant remember off the top of my head. i have heard of ppl running 275's in the rear but that seems like a bit much. a friend of mine has...
is it in comparison with the AEM, Wolf, ect...? i know its not going to be comparable to the high end products that are going to cost thousands of dollars. but, by using a standalone system such as the MS instead of a piggyback brings lots of more tunability correct? i myself am looking for...
so if you go and get the MSI system and then buy the MS-II add on, then it will basically be up to the same standards as the best standalone systems out there? i have read quite a bit on it. its looks like a great setup and its upgradable too which is what i really like about it. i heard theres...
i am planning on going megasquirt! good deal if you dont mind doing some work. hopefully by the time i get to that point they will have have knock sensing worked out.
i didnt know megasquirt had a site. i hope there next unit that comes out has the knock sensing capability as you said. hopefully by the time i go to do mine it will be good to go!
i know this post is kinda out from the dead, but there is no sense starting a new thread for it. so in all reality the total cost diff between maft pro and standalone would be what? $800-$1000? if your planning on going speed density mode on the maft then you already need the wide band, intake...
