hi guys-
i just saw this thread. i havent been on here much except to reply to a few pm's.
i really appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers and support. it has been tough the past few days, but the visitation is tonite and the funeral tomorrow. i think thats when its really gonna hit...
jake- yes the 5sp has a NSS too. it's so you cant start the car w/ it in gear. its worth a look since no ritual or goat sacrifices needed for this one. however, it does sound like an alarm issue.
yes quick continuous blinks of the CEL means no stored codes. and yes if you hit the gas pedal in diag mode you will get a code 51.
if you cant get it figured out this weekend im off mon and tues, maybe i can give you a hand.
not bad mike. what was your 60'? 2.3 range?
i think if you switch to a little taller tire it would help your rev problem. you are running a 25" tire now and if you went to a 26" it would probably push you right to the line before you hit the rev limit. or a 27" will fit as well, if you...
yeah its possible the 02 is dead. they are designed to go rich as a failsafe. might want to check for boost leaks just to be sure and possibly check Vf voltage to see what the ecu is doing.
67mm usually hits full boost around 4500 rpm, depending on your setup and turbo configuration. i have no idea how you are going to get it to hit full boost 1500 rpm sooner. aem w/ anti-lag and a whole lot of n20 will help, but even still im not sure.
yep thats the freaky euro style thing.
you would be much better off buying a v-band turbine housing and then welding on a v-band flange to your dp.
depending on which setup you used you might have to modify the dp anyway.
you talking about this one?
that looks like a v-band but they arent calling it that. it looks kinda shallow but maybe its just the pic/angle. the euroflange you are talking about looks different than that.
im pretty sure the one you are talking about is a different turbine housing. also, they sell an adapter for the turbine outlet.
shameless plug- i have turbos on special til the end of decemeber ;)

the place i usually go is $75 for the 1st 30min then $50 for every 30min past that.
i think for runs he charges about $50 for 3, but i usually dyno to tune and take the time slot.
yes its the 2 wire connector. the 4 wire connector is for the fuel pump.
simply unplug the resistor box, and jumper the 2 wire connector that was going to it. you can also completely remove the resistor box off the bracket now if you want to clean things up.
dont jumper anything on the 4...
