yes the pte injectors need to be modified to fit the rail. they are a tad larger in diameter and have to be machined down to fit inside the rail. they are also a tad longer than stock and will require a small spacer on the rail mounts. how muc(or if all) will depend on the condition of the...
i would go ahead and go with a mhg IF and ONLY IF both the head and block surfaces are machined for it. each gasket has a specific RA required for proper sealing. otherwise, id go for a stock gasket w/ arp hardware.
while he is on a stock motor, he does have a mhg w/ arp bolts.

i dunno, i make 12psi off of idle w/ my new turbo. the only problem with it so far is it has a torque curve like a bottle rocket. maybe i should try 2 of them.
yeah i noticed that. they are also selling them as 550cc. i would venture a guess they do this for searching purposes. how many people search pte 580cc injectors? they would probably get more hits if they put in "jdm" too haha.
as far as rc, i think it was last year sometime when i heard...
well yes and no. the lucas/rc were disc type whereas these are pintle. however, i do believe rc did switch to pintle type not long ago.
daveh and i have sold countless sets of these and never had a problem. ultra smooth idle, very tuneable, and respond well at low and high pressure...
no duane that does not help lol.
what the hell did you just say?
ET Street... They are not stable at high speeds..trust me. They have no sidewall unlike the DR's
then-
DR's... They wold be better than street tires but not something I wouold run. (ran them beofre) They have no side...
wish i could. i just remember dan posting several times on sf that it wasnt an east bear lip, but very similar. he wouldnt say for sure what brand it was, but it sorta looks like a Lucky. im not up on all the different older jdm parts, esp aero stuff.
i dunno, there sure are some nice DR's out these days. the m/t et dr kick ass and the new hoosier look promising, but havent tried those yet. i may.
i would recommend et streets before full slicks. little less driveline shock and a little more stable at speed.
if you wanted to go...
i prefer ether for cleaning. works awesome, dries fast, no residue. just be sure you have good ventilation and dont buy too much at a time or the DEA will be knocking on your door.
i had been looking forward to this site since 7mpower never got updated. i had periodically gone to www.gtepower.com when it was introduced on here and i liked how it looked. made a few updates, then revamped the whole site. was looking really good and FINALLY a website that might be up to...
yeah it isnt cat friendly for sure. for the 02 mine is on a spacer. it allows the 02 sensor to be open to the exhaust stream and not in it so it wont clog w/ lead. i also run a $30 02 sensor too, not the $100 toyota so it isnt that big of a deal to change once a year or more often if nec.
see look at the difference launch makes!
2.4 60' = 15.769 @ 87.71
2.09 60' = 15.34 @ 87.71
btw, 2.09 is respectable on street tires with our car, esp with someone new to the track.
keep at it! now that the fuel cut is sorted i'm confident you will be in the 14's at 90+
