I know where the resistor and relay is and I see the yellow wire however there are 4 wires on this plug, not 2 so I dont know which ones to run the jumpers to. Could someone please tell me which ones? I also know there is a 2 wire connector that goes to the resistor, Is this the one to run the jumper too?

yes its the 2 wire connector. the 4 wire connector is for the fuel pump.

simply unplug the resistor box, and jumper the 2 wire connector that was going to it. you can also completely remove the resistor box off the bracket now if you want to clean things up.

dont jumper anything on the 4 wire connector.

Do you have a stumble with your high horsepower car? If so, this helps to smooth it out. Otherwise, no need. You just wear out parts sooner.

What? Do you mean inform people who are uninformed?

What it does is, instead of having 9 volts going to the fuel pump when the ECU deems nessesary it has 12 volts going to it constantly.

Personally I think I'm going to run 8 gauge amplifier wire all the way back from the battery, do the 12volt mod, and use that to trigger a relay that puts a fresh, thick wire straight to the fuel pump....

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. When we had the 88t running a bunch of piggyback computers an stuff there was a really bad hesitation when pressing the gas at idle. It was horrible.

I did the 12volt mod and it damn near cleared it up 100%

sounds like a plan, justin. take note, boys and girls, make sure you're thick enough to do the job right, or don't do it at all.

well shaeff, ya beat me to it! i was gonna point it out that there are wires to jumper.

you can not simply unplug the fuel pump relay and the resistor and expect your car to run. you have to jumper where the fuel pump relay was and the jumper the resistor.

on a side note, i have run with the resistor unpliged, jumperd, and installed with the 12v mod rewire. never noticed a diffrence than a lil gas mileage(might just be my led foot too).

pics of this? Also, if yur running an external pump, you dont need this right? Because my pump has a resistor, and I have a switch in the cabin *hidden* that I can turn the pump off... So, I dont need it do I?
