i have been researching and gathering parts for almost a year now. seems like i learn something new about a 2jz swap everyday. as stated earlier, money and time to work on it are the biggest factors. or if your in my situation, a garage to do it in.
quick question on stainless braided lines. i have been searching around the net for all my oil and fuel lines i am going to be getting. i am planning on getting -10an and -6an lines for my setup. however, i have noticed that you can get 3/8" or 1/2" line alot cheaper. why does it state "not to...
my friends went through something like this a year ago. they had a '97 turbo with loads of mods for $7,000 and a 05 roush mustang for $8,000. this lady said she was moving to czech and her husband couldnt take them. but some how they got paid book value for them by the czech government, so they...
i ended up getting these coilovers awhile back now and i love em! on the softest setting it feels close to stock ride (minus the rolling). turn it down a bit and it holds real nice. cant wait to get my sway bars and see what it can really do!
if you want good results i recomend a front mount/cross-flow intercooler and a RonR FFIM. but like he said above, on stock boost your not going to benefit much.
just go 4" and forget it then. thats what i am doing when i do my swap. its good for over 600hp and sounds bad! did you ever hear kwnate's?

well considering if you still live in cali. your not going to be able to get away with an aftermarket exhaust really. it might be to your benefit to run a cutout. me personally, i am going to run a full 4" on my project and be done with it.
this is the one i got. it was on sale for $150 when i got it though..... either way it works like a champ!

"where's the door handle" (lol classic)
"how can you tell how fast we're goin with no dash lights?"
"why does your car jerk when you take off?" (3200lb pp)
"i cant beleive you just stalled it"
"this back seat sucks"
"why you putting money into an 80's car?"
"whats that bubbling noise in...
