Sounds like I should've checked which prong on the thermostat was for temp sensor. I didn't notice till I came down the road and saw a ton of steam coming from under the hood.

1jz's are destine to blow stock turbos, so don't go crazy on the boost, don't buy people 1jz "projects", it is more than you want to deal with. Other than that, my brother has had no problems on his 1jz sc300, except the stock turbos. Be prepared for no ac in most 1jz swap'd supras though.

Well...new news, the computer is FRIED, black smoke dust and shit where it blew up, capacitors leaked on the circuit board. New computer $200-250! damnit!

I picked this baby up for $800. 1991 Eagle Talon AWD turbo 5 speed. 149,xxx miles, p/s but a/c need some work. It also had/has a bad rough spot from 3k rpm to 4500 rpm, but I believe I solved that today when I found a burnt spot inside the computer, and a capaciter leaking on the circuit board...

Try to slip the clutch with those little mods you should be able to obtain traction very easily!

I think I saw a big high compression 7M-GE a few months ago on here, and have remebered my interest in it. I think it was like a 14:1 n/a pushin like 400-450whp? or something? I'm not sure does anyone remember that build or another big 7M-GE build?
