I picked this baby up for $800. 1991 Eagle Talon AWD turbo 5 speed. 149,xxx miles, p/s but a/c need some work. It also had/has a bad rough spot from 3k rpm to 4500 rpm, but I believe I solved that today when I found a burnt spot inside the computer, and a capaciter leaking on the circuit board today (common problems on dsm's). I know its not the best daily but I can't stand driving a slow car.
The car came with Autocrap gauges (autometer), boost & afr. Also custom non-mandrel 3" catback, a Blitz turbo timer, and a hard upper intercooler pipe, with fender wells and pieces removed for more intake air.
All I've done with the car so far to get it running and driving is plugs, coils, battery, and some fresh fuel and usual checkup oil, trans, lights etc.
My plans now are to hope the computer was the big problem, get a boost controller and turn it up to 15 psi, downpipe, and something besides this mess of the intake Mitsubishi made here. (I'm goin with 2g maf, K&N, and dsmstore intake pipe. Also I will be doing something about the horrid paint as well, all primer will be redone over all the covered areas and clear coated for now until I decide to get it painted.
