It's literally amazing the stuff you can hack together to work 'just good enough' until you get home with baling wire.

I take ratcheting swivel wrenches in 10, 12, 14, and 17. Same sized sockets. Water, I can make it home on pure water without any coolant if I need to. ATF fluid for the power steering. Brake fluid for the brakes / clutch. Some baling wire. A few dozen assorted zip ties. Pliers and a hammer.

Exactly. See, the problem is, that if this cable gets frayed, or cut in an accident, or somehow loses it's insulation and touches the body of the car, it produces a dead short. A BIG dead short. Big enough that it will heat up the battery and the cable - big enough that it will more than...

QFT. I've blown a Cometic. Titan / SIP are the same thing. I've never blown an HKS, and the one on my car has already taken *WAY* more abuse than the cometic did before it let go. The only difference was the gasket, both times the surface prep and everything else were exactly the same...

    Deadwood

Yes, but in a realistic way, with actual historic figures. The language has been updated to modern day - I'm sure FUCK and CUNT weren't in use back when this happened, but they sure are in this show, along with a bunch of other epithets. Comparable to the 'new' western movies that have come...

I don't think so, the Taylor ones have their name stamped in the top, as I recall. I'm not sure what brand this one is, it came with the car. There's a damn good chance I'll switch this one out for something composite, like a moroso.

Pardon the mess... this works, the top fits in overtop. Hell, you could cut down the box, it's actually higher than it needs to be. Ideally, I'd put the fuse *inside* the battery box.

Thanks Mike. To add to this, telling someone to search without passing along tested search terms is a no-no. 4awg is more than sufficient. Keep in mind the stock wires aren't that large, so this is already an improvement. 2 or 0 is overkill. Remember to fuse it as close to the positive...

? Has anyone thought of this

QFT. If you have strict or PITA law enforcement, you cannot beat the one from RR. If you're at all concerned about power, just pick up an electric cutout as well.
