Too far away for me to even think of going back down there haha.
When I saw that he had an entire tan interior in his basement I asked why he didn't try to sell anything on any forums...he said he didn't like shipping. I'm really hoping he will forever hate shipping :D
What is the distance between the outside of the rotor and where it needs to be to meet the pads? There's quite a few rotors that will fit on the front without modification besides pushing the dust shield back.
I bought some MSD wires maybe 3 or 4 years ago and they ended up falling apart in less than 2 years...the spark plug side of the wires got brittle and shattered whether due to heat or a bit of oil that ended up in the galley. Went back to OEM and they are STILL fine even after enduring the oil...
People who talk out their ass about a topic they know nothing about.
I went to pick up some doors/bumper for the MKIII from a guy in Cooperstown...here's a few snippets of our long conversation, halfway through I gave up arguing and just listened because he was making an ass of himself:

Car was running fine a few weeks ago before I took off/put on the upper/lower IM, throttle body, TPS, IAC (all the associated crap) and new rear brake rotors/calipers. Also took off the IC piping and put it back on. Same IC pipes, same manifolds.
Went to start it up, wouldn't start...forgot to...
What brakes were mocked up originally when Albert posted? They are fricken huge.
And what are you putting on now?
I like this thread, I don't come into the builds section nearly enough :D
I bought my goodridge lines from JSC Speed almost a year ago. Cost about $120 shipped then.
ssideways: Any ideas for the fronts, or are you getting a bolt on kit?
Funny you should ask, as I have a set (don't know why). Goodridge does make them and they look real nice, but I didn't think I'd be able to get the other part of the brake line apart without stripping or breaking something so I left it alone. I bought these on a whim and will probably just use...
This times a billion.
How heavy your rotors are should be the only thing you DON'T want to cut weight on.
For rears, there's the thread 'rear bbk kit anyone' in this section...for the fronts there hasn't been anything that bolts right on, although some calipers are out there with 110 mm...
They are plug and play. Ebrake stuff works but its real tight, I have to loosen up the drivers side stuff. Only thing I had to do was bend back the dust shield.
I'd sign up for that group buy...good condition doors/hoods/bumpers won't last forever, it'd be nice to have some fiberglass replicas to buy somewhere.
