What....:aigo:
Even with an aftermarket standalone ecu I won't rev past 7500 rpms.
Damn,I knew it was somehow big turbo....but not so BIG :sarcasm:
Well,l am on the road on searching again...:biglaugh:
Thanks for the info
I respect every generation of supras...all 4 of them (mk1,mk2,mk3:love:,mk4)Most people don't know these cars. Even the 4th generation...They do know
some things about the mk4 cause of the F&F,Tuning magazines, video games
and all that.
Let me tell you a story:
I do have a mk3 (2jz/R154...
1st, The car never set any racing benchmark, it isnt KNOWN for its racing heritage.
-True,but it did run on some rallyes... Took 1st place in China, and 2 times 3rd place behind AWD
Audi Quatro and Lancia Integrale....Total 3 rallyes, after China circuit and 1st
place with Jorn...
I don't know if it is going to be a collectors car over time.....
To tell you the true..... I don't want it to be :sarcasm:
Mk3 supra has great looks! Edges, straight lines & curves. It will always have
glamour, style, looks seen it in 80's,90's, and 2000...even in 2010+ it will be
something...
Since we are talking about 19''s.....:biglaugh:
I am really interested in the following rims/tire combo:
Well these 19's come only in this size: CRUIZE 136 ALLOY brand wheels.
Front 8.5' x 19' ET35 with 2 tire choises...235-35/19' & 245-35/19'.
Rear 9.5' x 19' ET35 with 2 tire...
Toyota gaskets are not bad at all,if you keep the motor stock!
But even then, you must replace it when you reach the 60k miles
mark...on a 7M only:naughty: Ofcaurse it is unusuall for a toyota motor to change it's
head gasket so soon! But this is the weak point on 7Mgte engines....
Now,if...
He's the second guy I heard the last days, that he'll go back to stock twins...
Also many guys with stock twins don't have in their minds going single :sarcasm:
Twins all the way......:biglaugh:
Mine runs fine to...:biglaugh:
After the 2jz swap 18 months ago I've never had to deal with anything!
It starts, runs, races on any weather condition without an issue.
I am full BPU++ mode,and I drive it 2-3 times a week :love:
I haven't even done my first 2jz oil change! :sarcasm:
To tell...
I don't think they are badly clutered.....most of them look stock placed,
inside the dashboard's trim. I didn't want to put gauges on the A-pillar.
I don't like the fast & the furious style.....:sarcasm: My 2 cents......
Surging is a quite complex thing....
It depends on the turbo/turbos,on the IC piping diameter/routing,on the
kind of the bov and it's location, and ofcaurse the boost pressure :sarcasm:
A bov alone can't be the main issue on surging problems......
I had the same Blitz DD ss bov on my old...
Blitz DD SS bov here (not jdm one)....
I do not get any surge at all :biglaugh:
It is located 15cm before the throttle body.
It makes the best sound...:biglaugh:
I just want to have everything under control.
I don't look at them (gauges) much now......:sarcasm: I get dizzy :biglaugh:
I just pay attention on the (defi link) warnings :naughty:
It is made from plastic (heat durable) custom made.
The oil thing is the oil level light warning.I have a 2jz under the hood and
it supports this kind of data reading.
The light stays always on.....when it will go off then the oil level in the oil pan will be low which means problem...
it's a temperature reading device (interior/exterior temps,celcious only)
I got it for 20 euros....cheap thing. It gets lighted in blue by 12+ source when you
turn your dashboard lights on !
Nice run!
You must be pushing around 370-380 rwhp to do that:sarcasm:!
Stock Ferraris are not a big deal for a 400 rwhp supra...from a roll !
But I heard that the F430 is quit fast, and we need about 500 rwhp for a
sure victory! :biglaugh:
