Factory rears for mk3 A70 Supra from lowest to highest:
3.727, 3.909, 4.100, 4.300,
And there is a Turbo A spec rear end of 3.2 which is very very rare! :aigo:
We can go lower until 3.5 which is the limit on our rear 'case'....:naughty:
Jawsgear custom made this 3.5 gear and pinion...
Exactly....7M are very good motors.
They just need a little bit more tend & care....:biglaugh: And then they'll
be ready to deliver the big power!
Anyway this one that makes almost 320 km/h is about 550 whp...
which is more than enough to reach this speed!
(I think he is from Germany)
Not sure....But since he is in Europe and 89'+ mk3s with the R154 manual
transmission on euro spec (EDM) cars they came with 3.7 rear end like
mine has! Also as you see he's got big wheels in diameter that improves
the tire circumferance and with a higher rpm redline he can make these
high...
Yeah...in Europe they're doing some high speeding on a controlled
runway. A guy filmed a mk3 doing almost 320 km/h.
From what I saw,the car is a black 89+, euro spec with 18' or 19'
wheels!
Who said mk3s are not capable for 200+ mph speedruns...
Not bad for a 20year old car...
Nice chart! Are these speeds (Mp/h or Km/h) ...car's speedometer numbers
or true gps numbers?
Cause if they are true (gps) numbers, than we are talking about 15-20 km/h
more on the speedometer (gauge) :biglaugh:
Man.....I hope the 2JZ exhaust manifold to sit without any 'banging' and
mods to the A/C lines or the frame/chassis :sarcasm:
I hate 'hitting' my car....Allready did it when I put the 2jzgte with the stock
twins.
But,your DM67 turbo kit install looks great at the end!
I've sent an email some time ago to Driftmotion for T67 turbo kit...but
with only difference should be for a 2JZ...:sarcasm:
I think they should swap only the exhaust manifold and it's good to go!
But they never answered me.
+1000 :biglaugh:
I did the same thing. Removed 2 old (7M ecu) brackets. After I pulled the
bracket that holds the latch hook towards....Then the 2jz ecu will fit
almost perfectly.
Right & Left of the hook (with 2 bolts),there are another 2 holes on the
old rusted bracket (pictures...
I know good quality carbon hoods cost some serious $$$
But it is great having this thing on your car for 3 reasons
1) Most important ! Cooling reasons. A carbon hood should have
air vents. Not ram-air intake vents...air vent that allows the hot
air from the engine bay to get out. I have the...
