Yes it was working before in the sense that I would be able to set the boost a little higher and feel and read the change. But with the stock ECU I would hit boost limit so I cant really set it too high. But I should just swap back to the stocker just to isolate it to that if its the culprit. I...
Just preload the springs to their recommended specs to make sure your spring doesnt clank around in there. Lock the top collars and adjust the bottom one to where you think you will want the ride height. Once installed, chances are you will ant to adjust more, so loosen the bottom collar and...
Hey all,
This is kind of a strange one that I hope can be rectified very easily.
When this boost controller was first installed over a year ago (AEM Tru-Boost) it seemed to work fine. I could set different levels of boost and really feel the difference. Couldnt set it too high or the boost...
A 19x9.5 +24 is similar to a 19x10 +35 or thereabouts so you should be fine. Remember that the camber gets pretty drastic when the suspension travels up so the tire may clear the fenders if you go lower or are worried about wheel travel clearances.
Looks good so far. As you get used to the camera, figure out what type of shots you will primarily be taking and get a higher aperture, faster glass and you will get great bokeh and very sharp pictures. And most of all have fun shooting!
I think you really need an open minded owner that has run various types of coil overs to really get a solid opinion to work off of. Most people will just claim they love what they have just because they have them. Like me, I have Stance coil overs....spring rate is 12k front and 10k rears and...
Front: Volk GT-C 18x10 +30 235/40/18 Falken Azenis RT-615
Rear: Volk GT-C 18x10 +24 245/40/18 Falken Azenis RT-615
In retrospect, I should have put 245s up front as well. The 235s are too stretched and slightly rub the inner fender at full lock just as the 245s would...I thought they would...
You will love the camera...but as previously stated, invest in good glass and it will make the camera really perform. I upgraded my canon body to a Canon 1D MkII-N so I dont have to worry about a body for a while.
Research into glass that will suit your needs and you will be set. Happy Shooting!
Stance Coilovers was my choice after reading and reading about all the different ones available. They seem to be built tougher than some of the other brands out there but only time will tell.
(not jza70 units but they look the same without the tabs)
Actually I was looking for any input to draining the entire system as well as refilling it. So thank you Jose for letting be know about the block drain plug and I didnt know if there was or was not a air bleeder valve aphxero so thanks for your response as well.
