Lol at this whole thread.
Just delete the relay put a paper clip in the socket if you dont run a streight wire.
The relay is in series with the ignition coil.
Automatic canada supras dont even have a relay in them!
The solenoid is the starter relay technicaly because it just pushes the gear...
G-speed a huge importer in socal went out of buisness.
I used to be able to buy whole JDM cars off them.
Soarer clips ~1900 JZA70 whole car for about 1500-2000
Half clips for no more then 2300
Tons of deals were available here.
From what I heard customs was breaking open their containers...
I would always choose to run the higher grade option first with the lower grade option as last method of use.
#1 pick would be solid aluminum AN threaded fitting hardline choosen first.
#2 braided line AN threaded fitting.
#3 braided line push lock
#4 rubber hose push lock
#5 rubber line...
I think the toyotas all use 12mmx1.25 so the TRD knob is the same on the supra MR2 celicas Some trucks.
I have the rare TRD solid metal 6 speed shift knob.

Looks kind of like this one but its more rare its egg shaped and...
Its a waste to go back to 7M crap.
You can upgrade the ignition from what I hear using the newer 1ZZ COP spark system
Toyota & popular belief is a little confusing.
The 1JZ/2JZ i think technicaly uses COP because the ignitor is seperate.
The Altezza BEAMS engine & 1ZZ uses Direct Fire...
One flywheel is for a R154 the other is for W58
W58 clutch is push, R154 is pull.
The flywheel goes with the transmission/clutch
The crank bolts go with the engine so 7M GE/GTE have same crank
There is so much bad information here about back pressure and exhaust dynamics.
First of all if you have a crappy little honda and bolt on a 4-5" exhaust you will not gain HP but loose HP
This reason is not because of the lack of back pressure it is because exhaust piping is like a piece...
Will you have an optional setup for adding three wires to convert from batch fired injectors to sequential?
Whats the projected group buy rate ~1500?
I think I can get my brother to get a standalone for his 1JZ.
VTEC doesnt really adjust time it adjust Lift & duration.
So VTEC haves no benifit over having an engine with a more aggressive set of cams other then better gas millage when chocked off by the less agressive profile.
VVTI actually changes the timing of the cam.
The only thing better then...
If you are good with a welder you make them
or pay some one next to nothing to make them.
You use the passenger side seat cut the vertical part of the seat off the brackets using a sawzaw blade leaving the spring holder & upper sheat metel under the rivets attached.
Drill 2 holes slightly...
VTEC is more like the VVT(L)I system where lift is changed.
VVTI is way more advanced also since nissan uses DESNO parts they share the same technology with VVTI.
Think of VVTI as being like those $200+ variable mechanical cam gears except instead of degreeing your cams so you get power in...
The diagram does not include automatics because the efi system is split and runs through the NSW switch which divides the efi system so its not fully powered when not in park.
You have to splice three wires together as if it was a manual you see the difference in the ma70chematics between auto...
The easiest way to do it is to use the EA2 connector off of the JZA70 fuse box.
Just unclip it from the fuse box and plug in you have to splice 1-2 alternator wires at the most.
Its rare the VVTI engines are better internally.
For example the 3SGE Altezza B.E.A.M.S. Haves dual VVTI and could be built up to 275HP or more on stock internals no problem.
But the !UZ JZ engines usually use thinner rods to make the engines more efficient and can not handle upgrades...
If you have enough of bolt vice grips weld a sturdy rod to it and remove it.
If your really good you can drill it out with reverse drill bits and if it doesnt catch & come out when your close to the threads weld ito then take it out then.
You can heat it up with a torch causing the piece...
Playstation network is down especially for the fat systems.
I guess they got hacked again or something.
The hack was so bad my system rolled the date back to 31 dec 1999.
If I try & join invite messages it will kick me off with no trophie data.
I get the error 8001050F when trying to log...
If its an auto with ECT built into the ECU you cant cut the speed wire (usually pink wire) you can get a speed defender for it.
if automatic SP1 SP2 will be clamped down at 100mph speed by the defender so it wont trip an error code for SP1 SP2 missmatch or activate fuel cut at 120mph limit.
Everyone just slaps on 2JZ-GTE complete water pump housing dedicated to just the engines cooling with mechanical fan or E-Fan.
You cant just go to autozone and pick one of these things up you know.
I think I have a hydrofan ECU around here somwhere
