Just ordered a fuel line and supplies to do a dual walbro set up that will be capable of running e85.
Im running dual -6an PTFE (teflon) SS line from the tank to the front of the car, and a -6an return.
Still got to get a regulator, fuel rail, and injectors.
Heres how im designing the...
Well compared to the short runners that are on the car and then comparing it to a the long runners of the stock that is probably what is giving the torque difference.
Thanks for the compliment
When I did my swap I couldnt find an aristo flange so I took that last cast piece and welded pipe straight to it about 6 inches with a 2 bolt flange, not the best idea but it worked well for the 6 months I had it. Then I fabricated my own down pipe.
There cheap rims from the previous owner, there liquid metal f5's and there 18x8 in the front 18x9 in the back with 245/40/18 and 275/40/18 falken tires
It was a tight fit and you have to shim it sometimes away from the water neck, I did that and had the fan go through the radiator when I bumped a curb. To fix this problem I shortened the water neck so that the fan would not have to be shimmed on the water pump. Best idea in my opinion. Gave me...
I had the same problem when I went to electric fans on the stock radiator. This was when I was on the twins. I would fun 220 then 230 on highway with heater. I put the clutch fan back on and I never saw it go over 190 to 200 cruising. I know after a pull it would go to 210 for a while. This was...
I did 21 psi with my turbo and it was amazing...I dont know if he sells it or not but I would go divided housing as it helps alot with spooling it. I have a .70 divided housing. I got 10 by 3200 and 21 by 3800.
I dont see how you figure this? Its a great turbo to hit these numbers on pump gas efficiently with still a decent power band. Its still a very suitable street turbo not a dyno queen turbo if that is what you mean.
Thanks man! no I drilled a hole behind the intake manifold and run the harness behind the dash. That way you need no extending and fits in the stock location. Look at IBoughtASupras build thread there is a pic of an empty engine bay that shows you where to drill the hole to make it work.
Ya this was a nice race...the hot side on the turbos are still .69 non divided on the 7m and .70 divided on my 2j. Both cars feel very similar to his 500hp tune that he had on his 60-1...if anything I would say a safe 475 for both cars are reasonable to assume.
