I agree with the PSP thing. I modded it for one reason: So I could play FF7 on the train across town.

    Recipe Thread.

LOL. If you want some interesting KD, a small bit of tuna, some brown sugar, and teriyaki sauce. That's my "Shit, I have 15 minutes to make some dinner that isn't waffles or cereal" meal. Maybe there needs to be the "Poor college student recipe thread" too :)

Anybody else using a modded Xbox?

One of my bioses boots to EVO-X, one boots to XBMC (I've modified the bioses to load different dashboards). That way, with the flip of a switch, it's either a gaming machine, or a media center.

So i found out why i "Only" made 283rwhp...

aaaaand that's why I don't run any gaskets between my turbo and manifold. (and no, I don't have any leaks) I remember there was a thread on here a while ago about a guy using an aluminum gasket between his turbo and manifold. The EGTs melted it, and pushed it out.

    Split-cycle engine

Yes and no. There are other ways for the engine to become more efficient. The major one is heat, like you said, however I don't see the split-cycle being any better for heat. There is also beter utilization of the fuel itself. (Think brake specific fuel consumption). I could see the...

    Split-cycle engine

It's not reduncant. What it's doing is taking is taking an ordinary four stroke motor, and running two strokes at a time. Yes you're doubling up on friction and mass, but you are also doubling the number of power strokes per revolution, doubling power. With that being said, I can't see...

Anybody else using a modded Xbox?

I used to be into xbox modding way back in the day. I have a 1.0 xbox with a reflashed the onboard bios. Has two separate bootable bioses, selectable via a switch at the back too. 200gb hard drive, mainly filled with movies. My linux server also has a ccxstream server running that XBMC...

    Need naked frontal pictures please

Blow-by? I was under the impression that there's an oil pump behind the FMS, not a crank case. I was sure it was oil pressure that pushed them out, specifically people shimming their pressure relief valve, or not properly seating their front main seals, and blocking the relief hole behind it.

    stock mk3 boost valve....?

Look at the turbo, there should be a small vacuum line running from the compressor housing to the wastegate actuator. Remove this line, hook the compressor housing up to the NO port on the solenoid, and the wastegate actuator to the COM port. Leave the NC port OPEN (not capped!). I believe...
