my dad bought that same crimper for me to do my wiring stuff!
and i love it! takes all of the work out of crimping everything.
nice build, a little on the crazy/insane side... but its a supra, you have to be crazy to own one!
yes... becuase the 6bolt can swap in SOOOO easy... you do realize that the 420a is the OPPOSITE layout of the 6bolt right?...
DSM's in general suck balls. i would drive one, but not as a daily... and it would be a galant vr-4...
block >>>>>>> filter>>>>>>> thermostat (cause you dont need to 'cool' cold oil)>>>>>> cooler with -10AN hoses.
most people put the thermostat in fog light area in there, it all depends on what you have for piping, and other junk though...
either get a new bearing for the center. or go one piece aluminum DS from shaftmasters... OR if you wanna stay 'stockish' then shaftmasters has a 2 piece drive shaft thats half aluminum half stock, and it has a NEW center bearing, its like 550 or something like that... but once you get the new...
either just stick a screw driver in the head and block to break that seal, or you need to man up and pull it off. my head on the engine i took out was on there pretty good.
cause they rotate the cars at the stockton one during the week, and i didnt see any supras behind the fence.
my clutch master cylinder is in, and so is my new belt (the right size this time hopefully)
it doesnt 'flow' with the lines of the supra at all. its like you just tossed on some random body kit... if it was going to be a show car, maybe... but i would never roll around with it on my daily.
comcast FTW. i think we have the slower one... which is still REALLY FUCKING FAST. i use T1, and T100 at my dads work, and websites cant even send info that fast... so comcast is about perfect. i download all the time at 2mb/s or higher!
because as you shift it'll slowly wear away, and you'll get super tiny brass particles INSIDE your transmission, theres already enough metal crunching in there... you dont need to help that thrust washer go out any faster.
maybe its just the chop... but i think thats UGLY. i could see hommer doing it cause its different, or maybe that dude with the gold MK3 and mustang tail lights... but i couldnt degrade my supra like that. maybe its just the tri exhaust... i dont know..
my green truck bushing is as tight as my last supra which had MC bushings on it... soooo... i dont know what to tell ya.
defintaley NO on the copper though... i see ZERO advantages to whats already out there.
(and i used some super high pressure grease on my shifters bushings and bottom piece)
i've seen 3 or 4 of those on craigslist now... lol... almost bought one, but didnt have the time or space for another project. plus the guy who posted it sounded like a tard...
nice find though. throw a 7m in there. hahahaha or better yet, a 1jz!
and i would rock a bedless truck if i had...
nice mysterious piece of steel in there, haha... machine shop probably left it in there, doesnt make sense though...
and im guessing your head was ported? cause your combustion chambers look NOTHING like i've seen on a supra... i keep looking at my pics, and there just not the same, and its...
you wont have any luck at pick and pull... theres NO turbos there... and i dont think the u pull it and save had any turbos either... but the guy at u pull it and save can order one from another store.
have you tried modesto pick and pull?
i was having issues while doing timing... and i was thinking of how to do it. so i set it per the tsrm. crank at 0, verified it was at TDC, set the cams with the one being 1 or 2 teeth off, and then put the belt on, gave it a few spins and then put the CPS in, and then when i first started the...
