my dad bought a set of drilled brakes for his Saab 93 (a daily driver, commuter, pusts 170miles every day on it) and he LOVES his drilled brakes, BUT... theres at least a full 10-15mm gap between the edge of the rotor, and the last hole... and belive me, hes had to stop from 100+ to 40 and 50mph...

i used the toyota 'green truck' bushing and it felt as stiff as my other car which had the marlin crawler... just make sure you grease them up really good and that way you wont have a hard time shifting like most people complain about...

i believe they were M12 or M14 x 1.25.... i just had to get one cause i was MISSING one... the easiest way is to just take the other one out and get a ride to the hardware store... the bolt was like $4 just by its self...

i would undo the ground cable on the battery to re-set the ecu so it has a fresh start.

i installed all of mine 'properly' and i've had zero problems. so if you do the same, you shouldnt have any issues either... just take your time and make sure you wipe everything clean with nice cleaner like acetone.

isnt chroming one of the worst coatings for a performance engine? my powder coat lady said to avoid anything chrome... and doesnt this have to be approved for a business to just post like this?

and neither is the cometic gasket kit... and i didnt use the copper spray, only because you want it seal around the exhaust port, so i used the ultra high temp copper rtv and it worked awesome. i prefer the copper spray for the larger gaskets like the timing cover and intake manifold where...

they send you a non-turbo and a turbo kit all in one... i had quite a few left over gaskets, i even had TWO for the y-pipe on the non-turbo... its prbably cheaper just to package them as one... and no problems at all, the guy who runs parts dinosaur is a really nice guy and i've never had a...

any dual 2.5'' out muffler will look stock... or you could get a dual 3'' out muffler... http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=7591 look on ebay for that part number and im sure you could get it a TON cheaper...

i really doubt selling the car is going to get rid of the ticket... i would just bite the bullet, pay the fine, and get a new exhaust... and if anything paint it all black too. you have a blitz exhaust on there now dont you???

cant you still get sent to a ref like him and get a huge fine though? just because your car is registered doesnt make it magical from the CA law... i never thought of the drug angle... im thinkin the impound fees wouldnt have been that bad... but either way its going to cost $$$$.
