aeromotive told me to not run the car on less than 5 gallons of gas for an extended time. it will heat up the fuel. i dont run my car that low anyway, so it wasnt a concern for me. while im on the subject, ive heard of many more dual walbro failures than i have aeromotive pump failures...

unscrew from the factory placement, yes. when i say 1/2-1/3 in, i am talking about from the screw being all the way out as reference. that is less than the screw placement from the factory, which from the ones ive seen are about 3/4 of the way in.

without a wideband, i wouldnt want to go all the way out. 1/2-1/3 way in would be fine.

you know they have the DB series and G series gauges too? those are $99. you arent going to find anything for cheaper.

you also have to keep in mind the fpr. one psi of boost = one psi more fuel pressure. the screw on the afm regulates the unmetered air going into the motor. the more you turn the screw in, the more it closes off the unmetered section of the afm, the less unmetered air that gets to the...

chris- i would recommend staying in frankfort if you dont want to drive back and forth. you could stay in lexington, but it really isnt any closer to the dyno than louisville is. but yeah you wouldnt have to back track. frankfort is real close to the dyno.

lexus stock afm screw, afpr, afc to tune. a fuel pump in good shape that can keep up with the fuel demand. a wideband to monitor. done and done. ive ran 680cc and eric has ran 720cc on a lex afm.

i wouldnt trust a 15yr+ old fuel pump for anything. that would be a for sure replacement imo. wideband would be the next for sure addition as well. with the lex afm, drill out the plug over the screw. adjust the screw out about as far as you can get it. dont go too far or it will fall...

16mpg is about right if you do a lot of city driving. i replace my o2 sensor every 15k or so. its a little excessive i know, but i run a lot of leaded gas. before i had the high stall converter i used to get near 30mpg highway driving.
