cant really help w/ the map ecu, dont know much about it. sounds like its fine anyway. but when you had the vpc/afc combo, it did the same thing? did you have the afc wired after the vpc? also, what map sensor are you running?

radio shack or the like would be your best place to find the cable. yes there is a home test for the coolant, just have to have the proper equipment.

i didnt know you moved the map sensor and all over to the other car. just thought it might be a possibility. 5.6k would probably be ok. if you already have it, you could try it. if not, 5k and 100 are easy to find.

i would pull a plug wire from the coil pack one at a time. see if you can isolate it to a particular cyl.

and being a type s, be sure you have it on the right vac port.

make sure you dont use attenuated wire. and you do want shielded. lots of noise going on that you dont want in the signal. also, 15 in/vac isnt right. you should pull more than that at idle, unless you are running upgraded cams. still sounds like a boost leak. i chased a problem with...

use a 5k ohm and 100 ohm in series (ie wire them like christmas lights). ever think maybe your map sensor is bad?

its been hell trying to get in touch with the people at the track. how many people really care about going to the track on sunday? the dyno on saturday is locked in for sure.
