What do you guys shave with? (gals too if you wish)

I disagree with you completely. I find they clog up so damn fast, and are impossible to clean with those little wires over the blades. I actually started a thread on this subject a month or so back on a different forum, and the general consensus was that Gilette Mach 3 was pretty a damn good...

Crazy job stories... Let's hear em!

I work at a casino, and could humor you with stories for hours. Usually after hours (2am onwards), all of the main lines are transferred to me, as poker is the only thing open overnight. I once had a guy call me up, probably 4 in the morning, claiming that he had taken some money out of one...

    Leaking HKS SSQV BOV

I suggest not buying fake BOVs if you're worried about things leaking.

    1JZ sensor problem

I would check your coils for cracks, and make sure the coil pack connectors are in good shape (locking tabs!). Also make sure the gap is 28 thousandths. Oil on the cam position sensor would shouldn't be a problem. If it was causing an issue, you would have issues all the time, not just under...

    MAP Sensor Boost gauge

I just tapped into it, as I have very high impedance inputs on the microcontroller I fed the signal to. If you're worried about it, add a 10k resistor in series. A capacitor would be a bad idea.

    19" wheel and tire questions

Actually, he says he wanted stock ride height, not stock diameter. You could bump up the overall diameter a few inches to fill out the wheel wells, and allow you to get enough sidewall on 19s ;)

    Tubbed Supra

Finding shocks isn't that hard. A lot of companies can make you something custom. What I would be worried about is how you would manage to extend the lower shock mount further inside the wheel well, while keeping it strong.

My new turbo Toyota! And it's not a Supra.

They're worried about pieces falling off. "Anything that compromises the structual rigidity of the panel"

    Haha, fair enough.

    MAP Sensor Boost gauge

I made it myself. A computer engineering degree has some benefits...... If the impedance of whatever you are tapping into the MAP sensor is high enough, it won't have a significant effect on the reading to the ECU.

My new turbo Toyota! And it's not a Supra.

Update! my safety inspection failed with flying colors! The frame has no rot whatsoever, which surprised me. The whole drivetrain is very solid. They just don't like the rust on the bed. So, I've started the rust repair.

Has anyone done 24 hours of LeMons??

Safety equipment DOES NOT count towards the $500. You're allowed to spend as much as you want on that.

Project: Best sound stage possible WITHOUT kick pods!

How many bands of adjustment does your EQ have? What I do, is after I time align the speakers, start playing with the polarity of each driver. You'll likely find that swapping the polarity of one of your midranges will widen the soundstage significantly. After I've played with the polarity of...

You know you're a Supra owner when...

The only reason I spend more time on the forums than in my car is because it's always broken.
